I've won a blackberry curve 8250 in a contest, the phone is from rogers, and I am with Bell Canada, I was wondering how to unlock the phone and if I will be able to use it with Bell.

We can unlock the phone for you but you will not be able to use it with Bell's HSPA (3G) Network because the 8520 is not 3G capable.

Even if I take the voice plan instead of the data plan, it still won't work with bell? What about Telus, Kodoo or Virgin Mobile?

No it won't, neither will Telus (because they only have 3G only no EDGE) and Kodoo and Virgin are CDMA Networks (No SIM cards).

Out of curiosity, why are you looking at all of the networks in Canada that are not completely GSM? Rogers and Fido are the only 2 networks in Canada that you can use your phone on

My suggestion is to unlock it and then sell the phone on kijiji or craigslist or even here in the Market. You will get more for it due the fact it is unlocked and more people will be interested in it. Then use that $ towards a phone with Bell.
