Lyft replacing Google maps?
So I've noticed that when I look a place up on google, clicking on the maps tab now opens lyft instead of my Google maps app. This just started happening recently and I haven't found an answer on how to undo it (didn't notice a solution quickly cheking through settings in either app either).
Any advice would be appreciated!

Settings - apps - cog wheel (top right) - opening links
Alternatively clear all data from lyft (or reinstall) then the next time you hit a maps link it should give you an option.
Sorry, I'm not seeing "apps" in the settings menu. I checked Chrome's settings and Maps's settings
Just delete and reinstall lyft would be the easiest way to clear its defaults
Wait what platform are you using?
I'm on a Galaxy S5 Active using Chrome. Ill just do the other suggestion. Thank you : ]
Uninstalling and reinstalling is horrible advice. Here is the answer to your question.
Settings > Apps > Application Manager > Select tge Lyft app > Scroll down to "Set as Default" > Press Clear the defaults button AND THEN press "Go to Supported urls" Abd select "Always Ask".
That cleared the problem in my phone and I don't habe to uninstall and reinstsll the app, which would be annoying AF!
hey there,
thanks for replying! I really appreciate you bothering to help on an old post like this.
Unfortunately, I dropped my phone in the toilet not too long ago and it's gone now lol.
Thanks anyhow! Have a nice day!
