MEET THE OFFICERS KRZYSZTOF SZYNKARCZUK, POLAND CAPTAIN Krzysztof was born in Lublin and grew up in Zamosc, a picturesque, historical town located in the southeast part of Poland, about 600 km away from the coast , of Baltic Sea. Inspired by maritime literature and seeking to explore the world, he joined Merchant Navy Academy in Gdynia at the age of 19 and boarded his fi rst training ship, "Dar Mlodzierzy" in 1982. He graduated from the Academy in 1988 and joined Merchant Marine Industry, beginning his career as an offi cer. While sailing all of the world's oceans, Krzysztof obtained additional qualifi cations culminating in his Master's license. He sailed on many different types of ships from general cargo carriers, container vessels to ferries in busy English Channel. His adventure with cruise industry started in the year 2000 when he boarded "Sundream " ex "Song of Norway" and worked for Sun Cruises. He joined Royal Caribbean International in 2004 as 1st offi cer on Rhapsody of the Seas® . Ever since Krzysztof has been faithful to this fl eet which he considers the best one to work for. He has been on Adventure of the Seas® since May 2018 and he is very honored and pleased to be your Captain on such a beautiful ship. As Master of the vessel , he welcomes all of you onboard Adventure of the Seas® and wishes you a wonderful cruise vacation.
ANGEL DIMITROV, BULGARIA HOTEL DIRECTOR Hotel Director Angel Dimitrov was born and raised in Bulgaria on the coast of the Black Sea. After completing his studies and gaining degrees in economics and statistics and studying Hotel Management he decided to try life at sea; joining Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in 1999. Over the last 22 years Angel has worked his way up through the ranks from part of the restaurant team to his current role as Hotel Director. When not onboard Angel enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and supporting environmental causes. Angel believes the best part of working onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship is being given the opportunity to engage with amazing guests, colleagues and we lcoming everyone to the friendliest ships on the high seas.

Lorenzo was born in Milan, Italy. He obtained his degree in Nautical Engineering in 1978 in Genoa. He started his career as an oiler on cargo ships, steadily advancing through the ranks to 2nd Engineer. In 1986, he had his fi rst experience on cruise ships and subsequently joined Royal Caribbean International in 1991 as a 2nd Engineer. He has served onboard the Empress of the Seas®, Grandeur of

TIPS TO CONTINUE YOUR ADVENTURE ADVENTURE OCEAN BACK DECK: Please note that the deck located behind Adventure Ocean is for ages 12-17 only. ALCOHOL-FREE ZONE: Please be aware that the areas at and around Adventure Ocean and the Arcade are strictly alcohol-free zones. YOUTH EVACUATION PLAN (YEP): All children under 12 years of age must wear a YEP wristband indicating their assembly station at all times . If your children are participating in an Adventure Ocean program, our Staff will safely take them to meet you at your assembly station . All children will be supervised until reunited with their parents or guardians. Children who do not already have their YEP wristbands may obtain one at the Guest Services Deck or from an Adventure Ocean Staff member. SWIMMING POOLS: The Solarium and Solarium hot tubs are for guests over the age of 16. All families and children are welcome to use the main pools. Guests under 16 wishing to enjoy the main poolside hot tubs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian . Children who are in diapers, swim diapers or not 100% toilet trained are not permitted in the pool. SAVING SEATS: Please remember that saving seats in our theaters and poolside is a no no! If a poolside seat has been unoccupied for 30 minutes or more, our crew will remove towels and personal affects to allow other guests to enjoy. HEALTH ADVISORY: With seasonal viruses appearing around the world, we have worked with the Center for Disease Control to institute enhanced cleaning procedures onboard our ships. The best way to prevent colds, flu and gastrointestinal illness is to simply wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds after bathroom breaks and before eating. PORT SAFETY: Please take extra care when leaving and returning to the ship. Ports are busy places, so keep a look out for ropes, moving vehicles and uneven surfaces.

GET IN ON THE FUN A one time only registration is needed for children to be able to participate in our program. Due to capacity limits in our facilities, reservations are required for all age groups. These can be done in Adventure Ocean on deck 12 or by dialing 8777 during opening hours. To allow as many children as possible to join in the fun, we will be limiting session participation, please speak to a Youth Staff for hour allotment for your cruise. For times when the ship is in port, priority will be given to those guests with Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions, all other available spots will be given on a first come first served walk-in basis.

EXPLORERS: 6 - 8 YEARS OLD For Explorers, theres no end to activites that engage young imagination. From art to science experiements like Space Mud, Get Buggy and Germ Jungle, there is no end to all the fun you can have.
PLAY BY THE RULES
SAFETY 1 -2 - 3 Parents, please ensure that your child wears the wristband that was specially placed for them in your stateroom and that they continue to wear it for the duration of the cruise. In the unlikely event of an emergency, go directly to your Muster Station . Don 't worry - Adventure Ocean staff will meet you there with your child(ren).
BEHAVIOR POLICY If a child behaves inappropriately, he or she will get a verbal warning. If the behavior continues, we'll put them in an age-appropriate time-out. A third incident will result in dismissal from the program . We'll notify parents right away the first time it happens so they can get involved.
CURFEW Adventurers under the age of 18 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian have a curfew of 1:00 am, unless they're participating in programs hosted by Adventure Ocean or Teen Staff.

SPLASH IN' SAFETY VOYAGERS : 9 - 11 YEARS OLD The Voyagers group offers endless ways for kids to play. Although there are lifeguards on duty at the pool deck, adult supervision is required for children 12 years and younger. Complimentary swim vests are always available near the towel station on the pool deck if you'd like one for your child.
