Plenty of Fish Dating 17+

I wake up one morning.. and I’m removed?! I’ve never had this issue with any app. Not even this till now & I’m hearing many others go through the same thing. I barely even use the app to be doing anything “bad/improper”. I’m always friendly and nice mindful & considerate to everyone yet I get removed?! I’m extremely disappointed with POF as I thought they were better than this. I can make a new account. But I want my new account back that just got removed as I am well over 5000% confident I have done Nothing to warrant such treatment even with Zero notification or email suggesting a warning or implying why they assume I shall be blocked. Even if they did I could explain I’ve done nothing wrong. I don’t even have to prove anything because I know with zero doubt. I feel maybe someone has been continuously reporting me to get me removed or something because they’re afraid I’ll find someone on there which is not my concern. If that was the case, POF should block the person spam reporting me instead. I googled reasons why you could be randomly unfairly removed and that was one of them. I literally am super confused. However POF I hope you get back to me and return my innocent using account back to me please and thank you.

I’m amazed that there aren’t more reviews commenting on the fields that need to be filled in before you can use this app. I mean, intrusive doesn’t begin to cover it. I squeaked past ‘what is your annual income’ and ‘how long was your longest relationship’ with only a moderate sense of nausea, notwithstanding the fact that far too many of these categories lacked a ‘prefer not to say’ option. ‘How many siblings have you’ and ‘which of you was the first-born’ ramped up the ante, but for me the question regarding the marital status of your PARENTS (!) pushed things a little too far. (Are they together? Divorced? Has one or the other of them died, perhaps?)

These things are none of your business, POF, nor are they the business of anyone else, unless I choose to make it so, and that decision is made on an individual basis. It’s a dating app, and not a particularly high quality one, at that. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using this app to look elsewhere, whatever it may be that you’re looking for. Very few things in life are worth surrendering this amount of private information about yourself, let alone revealing it indiscriminately to others through some five-and-ten-cent app.

Needless to say I never completed the sign-up process. I’d rather be that lonely old person discovered half eaten by feral voles in a damp flat than yield my details to Plenty of Phish. Sorry, Fish.

Can’t make out what this app is really about. Fake scam profiles or real people on it that’s none stop being scared of horrible mean people. Stealing photos and none stop sexing. Probably why they don’t talk? This app should be banned from the App Store!

Dear POF developers. Why don’t you add a Proof photo ID feature from Mobile Camera. Like every other app that uses photo uploads on profile sites or apps. That have to check to make sure it’s that person before they can use the app or site. To stop fakes and scammers. If you can make it that you have to check for cars or nude pic’s. I’m pretty sure you can make a ID photo of some kind for mobile! It’s not that hard to come up with a way to help stop them! Even a video clip or something that you have to pass before you can use the app and start messaging. As sorry to say the app is a total joke!!! After reading about story’s on what people have been experiencing, on here and on review sites. It’s terrible! “If it was my App”.. I would delete the full data base of Accounts and start over with a ID photo or Video that you have to pass before you can use the App! This way it will make it fair for us real people out there that is after a decent person and cut down on idiot fakes and scammers spanning people none stop. No really if you want to keep this app running. You need to first fix the errors init, and at the moment. That’s a lot!
