The Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview is a hotel that boasts enviable views of the falls, a highlight for many guests. However, some travelers have voiced concerns over the room sizes, cleanliness, and the value received for the price paid, particularly noting high parking fees and disappointing room upgrades. The hotel's atmosphere and decor are often described as dated, and the service has come under fire, with reports of rude staff and lengthy elevator waits. Despite its prime location, the overall guest experience is marred by overcrowding and hidden costs.

We absolutely loved our room and had the most unbelievable view of the falls. Everything was great, beautiful room and the people were very friendly! The restaurants were all very good, with lots of variety on what you could eat. The shops were also great and everything was very clean.

Quiet hotel with nice two room suites. These are pics of room 1902. I liked the separate sitting room with TV and sink, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The bed was comfy. The view was amazing. There was only a standup shower (no tub) but that was fine for us.

The cleaning protocols were advertised throughout the room and hotel with extra alcohol wipes provided if we wanted them. The door was even sealed with a sticker we had to break when entering so we knew it had been sanitized and was safe.

Breakfast was a brown bag placed outside our door with an apple, blueberry muffin, water and orange juice. Nothing fancy but I understand how they can’t have their normal buffet spread with the current pandemic.

The pool was open with an attendant but no reservation is required. The hot tub is closed. We didn’t go in but too a quick look as we headed to The Keg for dinner.

The Keg also had strict social distancing with plexiglass barriers and every other table empty. The waiting lounge was closed but everyone had reservations so there wasn’t much of a line anyway. Our travel deal came with a $30 coupon for dinner but it still cost $165 for 2 steaks, 1 beer, 1 bottle of wine and 1 appetizer after tax and tip. I expect those prices in a tourist zone like this but it still hurt when the bill came, LOL.

Many reviews I read on here said it was $70 for parking so we went to an open lot across the street for $35 overnight. However when we got to the hotel itself there was a sign saying parking costs $35cdn or $25usd. They must have adjusted their parking fees recently.

Overall we got very good value for the deal we purchased. We would certainly stay here again.

This hotel is huge!!! We had a 2 queen suite on 10th floor. Property is nice. We did the $70 Canadian partial valet parking what they don’t tell you is if you are a Hilton member you get 50% off parking. The parking is great they even clean off snow in off site lot. Room was huge. Breakfast was a nice spread. We will be back.

Just came back from Embassy Suites Niagara for Valentine's Day. The King Size suite was booked at $300 for the night with the their special February March deal.

I reviewed the video that was on the website and the floor plan to ensure I knew what I was getting and paid extra for the US -Canadian Fallsview booking was indicated as 11th floor.

What was received was 20th floor Room 2003 a small room with obstructed view of the US-Canadian Falls view obstructed the closet. A very small washroom wherein when the bathroom door is open it is about 3 inches from hitting the front of the toilet bowl. This was definitely not the room that I had reserved and was very disappointed in. I was so disappointed I call the front desk and then again went down to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do.

The bedroom had not dresser the edge of the bed to the wall was about 2.5 feet which is why the TV was mounted on the wall. Also when I went down to the front desk I showed them the washroom description on their website which clearly states the washroom has shower/tub combination. There was only a shower in the room and as stated before you have to watch hitting the toilet when you open the shower door too.

The hotel in general was very nice great location clean, loved that The Keg was only a few floors down but I really just want to get what I paid for. I paid for a King suite and I did not get it and no one at the desk was willing to assist. Just as another not when we got to the 20th floor the sign indicated that the room 2003 was located to the right - guess what it located to the left along with room numbers 2001 and 2002!

Stayed at theEmbassy Fallsview Aug 11-14,2020. Arrived late a little late (8pm)
and was given the room in a quick manner which was appreciated. When we got to to the room we were greeted a nice blue sticker on the door stating that the room was "SANITIZED". Well, it seems there are many meanings to this word. The Embassy believes leaving french fries on the 20 year old carpet and a brown bag with a juice and water bottle half drank on the floor next to bed , is SANITIZED. The air conditioning circulation vent (intake) is located next to tv and hard to miss. the half inch of dust accumulated on it was also hard to miss. I sat there staring at it and wondered how can a room be sanitized if they blatantly miss obvious things to clean?
Front desk answer: ok sir we'll send someone to clean... they never did.
Taking the elevator to higher floors was also a joke. It is understood during Covid-19 times, 1 family per elevator is the norm, but when only 2 of 5 lifts are in operation, you sit and watch as the elevator doors open, then close because there is 1 person already in the lift. Thank the Lord my truck was too big to fit in the parking lot, 50$+tax and fees is RIDICULOUS ! I parked across the street (vs the hotel's" offsite parking" 4 blocks away) for 35$ cash . Still expensive but nowhere near the hotel ripoff...
All in all, the view saved the trip because this hotel needs a new management team and guidance.
P.S clients and staff talking in hallways seems like they are in bed with you. Horrible sleep

We selected this location based on the room size and the included breakfast because traveling with a family can be cramped and expensive when every meal is out! The hotel itself is beautiful and we had an amazing view from our suite. Upon check in we were offered an upgraded view room, for a price, which we did and the view did not disappoint. The reception each night and the breakfast each morning were very nice. The cost of parking is ridiculous and I refused to pay it ($70 CAD/$50 USD) per night. When we checked in, we did receive coupons and vouchers to several locations in the area, which was nice and we took advantage of several. There was a mix up at the front desk (they gave our room for the second night to someone else who walked in on us being in the room) but the manager quickly took care of it and offered to comp our upgrade fee for both nights for the inconvenience. I was just glad that we were there when the other people arrived! Breakfast was fantastic with made to order omelets and delicious hot foods. My kids enjoyed the pool and checking out the arcade. The location was perfect for walking around (especially if it wasn't so cold!) Overall, if you can park somewhere else, I would recommend this hotel again.

our check in was awful in that we had booked two queen beds. She said we booked a king and told us no options for a change as entire hotel was booked. As soon as i showed her the proof of two queen beds she said magicaly a room opened up. Hated the fact she was blatently lying to us. very early in morning next day cleaning people knocked just to see if someone was in room. Woke us up and was very disappointing several hours earlier than check out time. Bad stay start to finish

First of all the staff were amazing!! It seemed that everyone I met, from the front desk staff, to the cleaning staff to the food service staff were exceptionally helpful and made our stay very memorable. I had a room with my two young nephews and the second room was for my older neice and her husband. Everyone loved the hotel...great to have a suite for a family. The all inclusive breakfast was included in the stay and was terrific and great views overlooking the falls. Great pool and hot tub area as well.

Although we were impressed with our room as we faced the falls and we were on the 42nd floor, we were very disappointed in the COVID precautions and enforcement.

There were signs suggesting people wear masks but little was done to enforce it. There was no screening upon arrival.

The room wasn’t throughly cleaned as advertised, the rug had threads, seeds and the remote for the TV that we had to request, as the first one didn’t work was filthy.

The air intake vent for the AC was full of dust and was very dirty, we cleaned it ourselves.

The substitute breakfast was left in a paper bag each morning which consisted of a bottle of water, juice, apple and a pre packaged muffin, which I’m allergic to. There are ways to serve a buffet breakfast safely. If they couldn’t provide their usual breakfast, they could have least provided a voucher for a local restaurant.

The pool had posted rules with regards to occupants being of a certain age and supervised. There were kids that were definitely under the age of 16 without adult supervision, who had to let into the pool by staff members.

I know these challenging times but we were very disappointed considering the money we paid.

Kathy Lyons & Larry Tourangeau

PS. The photo attached is that of the towel we used to clean the air vent

Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 queen, Canadian fallsview whirlpool tub room and enjoyed it immensely. My wife and I stayed in the niagara area for a vacation and because of Covid we decided it was best to stay away from people and do a Staycation kind of vacation. We decided to spend the money on a good room as we would be spending more time in the room rather then out at the sites.

We are glad we did go with this option. The views we had literally paid for the room itself. Being able to see the sunrise over the Horseshoe falls and to see it at night was absolutely beautiful. I found myself sitting at the window for a long time just looking out over the falls. We were on the 30th floor. We had a 2 room suite that has a small room with a sofa (I assume was a sofabed. We never asked about it or saw it open so I am sure it was but can't confirm that) tv and a desk. Then there is a hallway that leads to a spacious bathroom with whirlpool tub, excellent shower and toilet.
Opposite of the bathroom was a little nook with coffee maker with coffee and tea supplies, microwave and small fridge.
There was also another little nook with another mirror and sink and then walked into the main bedroom with huge window, 2 beds and tv, closet with iron and safe.

The room included buffet breakfast but with the current Covid-19 restrictions we had breakfast in brown paper bags delivered to our rooms every morning after 730. They ask you to confirm how many people in the room on checkin so each party gets a bag with breakfast. The breakfast was a muffin, bottle of orange juice, apple and a water. Not much and it was disappointing but I don't fault the hotel for this. I know they tried very hard to accommodate with what they were allowed to do and like all in this time they did what they could.

The staff we interacted with while there were all friendly and accommodating with everything we asked of them. All Covid measures we saw that they had in place was in my opinion the best they could do and was very well implemented. We even tried out the pool and were signed in and got to have solo time in the pool with no other guests.

We ordered dinner to our room from The Keg restaurant on the 9th floor of the hotel and they also were very friendly and accommodating.

My only complaints as to why I don't say 5 stars is the parking and the wifi. You have the option of offsite with a shuttle to take you to the hotel or to park in a parking garage onsite. We did the onsite option but it is very expensive at $50 Per night. The offsite option is $30. Yes having access to the car was something I liked but not worth $50/night in my opinion. The wifi was free but we paid for the premium option and found it to be very slow and choppy. We ended up using data on our phones for most of our stay. Also the movies on the tv are very expensive.

Other then those we had a great stay and do highly recommend to others

I suggest you look at the details at the Embassy Suites reservation website…it’s tricky. I recommend you stay in a room that clearly states you have a view of both the Canadian and US falls. Also important is that the beds look towards the Canadian side. The higher the better is not necessarily true, but you do want a high room. There are excellent reviews of the hotels on YouTube. You will really enjoy this place.
