Bio: Family & Early Life

American professional wrestler Tyrus was born on 21st February 1973 in Boston, Massachusetts with the birthname George Murdoch. Although details regarding his parents are behind the curtains, it is said that he was born to a 15-year-old white Caucasian mother and a 19-year-old black African-American Father. Being born to young parents and in an unstable household, he didn’t have a good childhood he even was hit by his abusive father which caused severe damage to his eye.

Tyrus and his brother were raised by foster parents and he is very grateful for the foster family who supported and raised them when his own family abandoned him and his brother. Although during his teenage days, he was again reunited back with his mom, the reunion wasn't any good. The place where he reunited with his biological mother consisted more of drugs and alcohol rather than food to eat.

Moving towards his educational background, George went to Quartz Hill High School of Los Angeles County, California in 1990 and 2 years later in 1992, he attended Antelope Valley College. Eventually, he attended the University of Nebraska at Kearny to become a teacher.
