Twenty years ago, Dick and Dom started their TV careers on children's BBC.

But for their first few months, Richard McCourt (Dick) and Dominic Wood (Dom) presented individually and were only put together by bosses in 1997.

A reinvention in 2001 led to the name Dick and Dom and the duo we know now.

"Our time at CBBC so far has been unbelievable. We've won four Bafta awards, presented hundreds of hours of live TV and worked with some amazing people," says Dom.

Dick says: "I grew up wanting to follow in Phillip Schofield's footsteps and become a children's BBC presenter.

"I never dreamt I'd still be doing it 20 years on."

In the last couple of decades, they've presented some of the biggest shows in CBBC history.

Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow

Launched in 2002, this is where the pair really made their names (and launched the Bogies game).

The Saturday morning show picked up a couple of Baftas and ran for five series.

Earlier this year, producer Steve Ryde hinted there may be a chance for a reboot of the show.

Dick and Dom Ask the Family

A short-lived return of this quiz show from the 60s, 70s and 80s saw Dick and Dom make the move to "grown-up" telly.

The pair challenged four members of two families to take each other on with quick fire questions.

The Sunday Morning show on Radio 1

For a year the pair had a show on Radio 1 on Sunday mornings at 10am.

Around the time they left the station in 2008, Nick Grimshaw started presenting the weekend breakfast show.

The Legend of Dick and Dom

This sitcom saw the pair star as two princes on the search for a cure for a terrible plague.

The programme was narrated by former Monty Python star Terry Jones and featured celebrity guest appearances from the likes of Stephen K Amos.

Dick and Dom Go Wild

The duo led two teams in each episode, in a challenge to help animals in need.

As expected in a Dick and Dom show, the group got pretty mucky, but they also investigated the plight of some of the nation's most neglected creatures.

They're still working hard

They've featured in lots of other programmes over the years, including Splatalot, Diddy Movies and Dick and Dom's Funny Business.

And Dick and Dom are currently fronting Diddy TV and Absolute Genius Monster Builds, which begins a new series next week.
