About
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar offers made-from-scratch, Southern-inspired cooking. The House of Blues restaurant menu draws its inspirations from across the South. The menu includes iconic dishes such as New Orleans jambalaya and gumbo, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, house-smoked Carolina pulled-pork barbeque, Memphis-style baby back ribs, and Delta fried chicken. The menu also offers signature Southern-inspired recipes such as Voodoo Shrimp and Carolina Mess, as well as a wide range of burgers, sandwiches and salads. The House of Blues bar is dedicated to showcasing a unique blend of classic and contemporary specialty cocktails, spirits and craft beer. Located near Barefoot Landing & Barefoot Resort, the House of Blues experience brings together authentic American food, live music, and art like no other place on Earth. The sounds are electric, the art is inspiring, and our kitchen is as rockin' as the talent onstage.

The website lacks info about standing for all General Admissions tickets, specific hand bag size restrictions, Fast Pass available for eating at restaurant or buying mdse. Up front info available on website, not hidden within. The staff had problems getting more food to the main selling point and others info and comms problems.
The food and drinks were pretty good as well as the drinks. The staff were friendly and the shows are always really good. Drink service was quick, but a bit pricey. Definitely a great place to visit.

The atmosphere was great along with the food. I ended up getting the shrimp po boy which was delicious. The live music outside was nice except they were playing country songs which is not really my jam. Overall, a really nice experience and definitely recommended.

With all rules followed our family enjoyed a great meal with a top notch server. Lakedia was super friendly, made spot on recommendations and kept us laughing with her great personality. The food was very tasty with properly sized portions that will bring us back another time.

From our server to the meal, to the free concert after dinner, our first visit to House of Blues was a great experience, and we will return. Our server, Lakedia, was extraordinary, making us feel like family at her home. Then came the food, which was surprisingly good. We expected a commercial type material, but were thoroughly pleased with the food as well. My ribs were excellent and everything else we ordered was equally good. Then add in the ability to look around at all the "sights" in the restaurant, and then there was Lakedia. Finally, we were able to enjoy the concert out back. A great experience. We've been to Myrtle Beach countless times, and are glad we finally came to the House of Blues.

Food was great, Jalepeno cornbread was delicious. I bought some to make at home. Can't wait to try it. They have a live band and tons of folk art to see while you are there. The service was amazing and the price was very good as well. Portions are more than adequate for a couple or family. Can't wait to go again!

I've been dying to go to house of blues ever since I saw it my lady trip. I'm so glad we did. The food was incredible and service was fantastic. I only wish it wasn't pouring buckets so the family and I could have explored around the restaurant. We will definitely be going again.

went to concert there,what a joke,if you don't spend extra for a seat,you stand.people all over,drunk standing all around you ,talking loudly.you can't hear the music.first time there and last time.much better going to concerts at Alabama theatre or Carolina opery.

It is a tradition in our family to go to the Gospel Brunch the first day on our Myrtle Beach vacation. Going with my fiancée, brother and his girlfriend, it was not a cheap outing.
The musicians were good (not the best we have seen from years past, though) and the food was good—but not great. Our waitress was friendly and well attentive.
If you are looking for a unique environment and brunch buffet and you have some money to spend, this is your place. As we have done it plenty of times, the price is no longer worth it for us.

I went with family for the Gospel brunch. It was my first time at a HOB and I was not disappointed. The spread was amazing with traditional southern comfort food. The biscuits were the best I've ever had! Our server was wonderful and the live music was great. It was a great experience and I'll definitely go back again.

Food was okay. Server was not or accommodating. Asked before ordering if substitutions were allowed on a plate. Was told no, could only sub same sides. Up charge for change. Did it anyways, to get one of the sides I didn’t want with plate anyways. Never asked about more drinks, rude when checked on how food was and was told “ I see you got your fries”. I would pass on coming again.

restaurant was easy to get into. you might have the go out and come through the side to get to the outside bar then back in to the bathroom facilities plenty of space outside offering table side service for the bar. i think it would work well for you.

Hi there- we typically are an all ages facility at House of Blues Myrtle Beach but there are occasions where concerts or shows are booked as 18+ events and are always promoted as such. The restaurant is family friendly and we just recommend that The Deck is 18+ after 9pm and that Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is 13+ but these are just recommendations. We sell tickets through our box office and retail store but not in our restaurant. They are also available online through Ticketmaster. Tickets can be purchased over the phone from our box office by calling 843-272-3000. Hope this is helpful!

Upper balcony in a bench, in front of the stools. Easy access to the bar and great view, in comfort. Order food early or skip it all together. Their system of serving food is broken badly.
