House of Blues is an older facility with no close parking. Our biggest problem that night was that the Live Nation website (and our tickets) stated that the Andy Grammer show started at 7 p.m. People started lining up outside and we arrived around 6:15, assuming the doors would open a half hour before the show. Wrong! House of Blues wasn't opening the door until 7. We called House of Blues from outside and were informed that the show wasn't starting until 8:15. We were stuck outside in downtown Cleveland in February, It was freezing cold, windy weather, and the showtime had been misrepresented. During our wait, three different men came down through the line begging for money, Different men were waiting outside the venue begging after the show as well. It didn't feel like the safest place to be.

Inside House of Blues was pretty cool, but the drink prices were outrageous. Mixed drinks were $14 each, served in tiny kid-sized cups, and each cup was first filled to the top with ice. There were maybe 4 good sips per cup. I don't mind paying $14 for a drink, but I want a decent sized drink.

The concert was AMAZING. Andy Grammer was outstanding; very energetic and upbeat. He puts on a great show, and the acoustics were fantastic.

If I were coming to this venue again, I would call first and confirm the showtime, regardless of what the tickets say. I would also purchase the tickets through a different outlet besides Live Nation. We don't attend a lot of concerts and didn't shop around because we were afraid the show would sell out quickly. Found out later that we actually paid double the ticket prices for everyone in our group because of fees. Live and learn.

I would rate Andy Grammer a 10 because he was awesome, and rate the venue 1, because of the price gouging.

The Blues Chronicles played 2 great sets. Made up of local jazz musicians they produce wonderful music. The food was good quality and the service was great. I had the cajun shrimp tacos and loved them.

Had a great meal here. Service was great. We like a drink that has two types of alcohol in it that we ordered and the server was kind enough to tell us that our drinks would be $17 each and would we still want them - we switched to wine! The place is a little bit pricey for the atmosphere but still a great meal.

Stopped in here on our way through the City for dinner. The service was excellent for the size of the place. The house salad is worthy of a mention. Very good. The bacon cheeseburger was also very good. Ordered the brisket dinner which was ok, because the sides were not great. The beans were cold, the corn was over cooked and soggy. The corn bread was good. The coleslaw was ok. The key lime pie was a little warm too. The drink menu is extensive and has a ton of house mixes. Live music started around 9:00. This is not an intimate or quiet place if you're looking for that. The decor is eclectic and interesting. The other thing worth mentioning, if you're not from the area is parking. My GAWD, IT'S A BEAR. Also, it's a walk into an area to get to this place because it's contained in a restaurant, Christmas show, roads are closed situation. We PD 10$ to park in a structure. The elevator was impossible to find because it's in another building. So we huffed up a few flights of stairs. The Christmas display is up and worth a walk down the street too.

People were served who were falling over drunk before the show. Only 2 security on the first floor and at least 8 in the lobby, hiding. We had to swing on people who were grabbing teenage girls. The band involved reached out, but the venue doesn’t give a sh!t. They just want to push their overpriced alcohol to make more money, even if they have to refund the money of a 17 year old who was molested less than ten feet away from so called bouncers.

Don’t miss visiting here. The space is one of the coolest I have ever seen. The folk art collection is beyond museum quality & the ambiance is so very special. The food is ok - plentiful and a good price point but not a 5star the night we were there. That said I would definitely go here every time in Cleveland. Can’t wait to visit other House of Blues locations.

Went on a Saturday night. Music was great, food was great, paying tanked! Bring cash! Due to Hilton taking more than I budgeted for, I had to pay w/ 2 cards. They charged my debit card TWICE and don't open again until THURSDAY. I couldn't even stop payment because banks are closed on Sunday.

Wait staff is friendly and eager to help. Our burgers were very tasty with the spicy cole slaw (although a bit messy). Huge side of fries! Reputation of expensive drinks is justified but hey, you are at a wonderful venue for a concert. 12/30 a great night of fun at the Vindys concert.

Angie at the front desk was awesome, the music was really good, the service was a zero.
We came back three tomes throughout the day wanting to be there for the music. Angie was there all day, and was great! We got seated and sat, and sat, and sat. Waiting for a waitress ... Nothing!!
Went to the barand ordered our own drinks menus on the table. Sat and listened to the music, which we enjoyed.
Finished our drinks not one question from waitstaff. Meanwhile four tables came, ordered, ate and left.
We would have eaten but weren't offered the opportunity. Credit where it's due... Angie was the the sAving grace in this place.
Waitstaff was useless, barstaff lacking.

We stopped in for drinks and apps and Kenny was our bartender. He made us excellent drinks and was great to talk to. The cornbread was awesome. We look forward to going back to see Kenny and have some drinks!
