This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.

The Hotel du Louvre garners commendation for its central location, moments away from iconic attractions, and for maintaining spotlessly clean facilities. Guests have called out the professional service, though a few have noted occasional lapses in responsiveness. The stylish and spacious rooms contribute to the hotel's cozy yet modern ambiance, which many find appealing, although opinions on decor and value for money show some divergence. Amenities like the concierge service receive high marks, adding to the hotel's family-friendly reputation.

1st stay here was impressive. This hotel has a rich history, a lot of character and a creative dose of whimsy. It's very well located, the staff delivers high quality and genuine guest service and the breakfast is excellent. Next time I will stay longer!

We booked the hotel for a quick stay in Paris. The Location of the hotel is perfect since you have walking distance to many of the wonderful sights of the city. The Louvre for example is right across the street. The room we had looked newly renovated, was quite spacious and absolutely clean. What we loved most about this place was the amazing and very very friendly people working there. We were welcomed by Kim and Martin and felt at home right away, Laura at the bar helped us with wonderful recommendations regarding the drinks and what we also really loved a lot was the amazing breakfast buffet. Geoffrey, Victor and the whole crew were so nice and wonderful hosts at this place of absolutely delicious food. We can highly recommend this hotel when you plan an city trip to visit beautiful Paris!

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to write us this wonderful review! We are glad your experience did match all your expectations and that our committed staff contributed in making your stay memorable. Be assured that we will pass your kind words to the entire team! Finding a haven of peace in the heart of Paris was one of our main challenges during our recent renovations, and which seems to have been successful! It is a pleasure to read that you enjoyed our spacious and bright rooms, they were designed as haven of peace, inviting you to relax and contemplate the City of Lights. Thank you for highlighting the location of the hotel! I could not agree more with you, it is indeed the perfect place to start wandering and discover most of Paris treasures that are all within walking distance. It is a real luck to be located in such a historical area. It is a delight to read that you particularly appreciated our breakfast. The aim was to offer a gourmet and generous buffet in this typical French brasserie. The entire team and I are very proud to be a part of your recommendations, and we are all looking forward to welcoming you again in the near future! Sincerely, Fanny Guibouret - General Manager

Very nice hotel, class with very polite and friendly people to welcome you, to help you.Ideally located in the center of the shopping aera, the museum, the opera etc.
Without difficulties, we could change of room as we were in the roof level with low ceiling. We finally had a high ceiling room on first floor and absolutely not disturb by the traffic as there are double windows everywhere. You just hear the underground (for sensible ears) Nice bathroom but, pitty, heating was defected and the floor very cold.
Breakfast in the brasserie is really good in a very parisian ambiance and design.
We'll go back !

We’ve stayed at a few other 5-star hotels in Paris and I really don’t know how this hotel is 5-stars. AC didn’t work well, first room we were out in was dusty, damp and smelt awful. Took embarrassing amounts of time to receive basic things like more body wash after only one was in the room for a family… really not what I expected even at a minimum level from a 5 star hotel. Only positives were the location and the bellmen who were all really nice and helpful along with one of the evening front desk staff who tried his best (but they seemed really short staffed for high season honestly)

We were lucky to have a corner suite looking out at the Louvre, with lots of natural lights streaming through the many windows. Though it could be noisy during the day, it was quiet at night. We loved having a small refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and a nice table with three chairs. Every day we would walk to the nearby Eric Kayser and bring back croissants and cappuccinos. We found that the service was excellent. Our bags were brought to our room once it was available for check-in. For Easter, they set up an easter egg hunt in our room with tiny chocolate eggs hidden everywhere. The room was cleaned once per day and a turndown service also. We enjoyed the heated towel warmer, large shower, and separate toilet compartment. It is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We also liked the location, across the street from the Louvre, and in walking distance to every part of Paris. Multiple Metro stops were located nearby to save time. Also, you can get a Covid test right across the street at the Pharmacie.

We just returned from an 8 night stay at the Du Louvre and the whole experience was great. A big shout out to the waiting team at their restaurant for impeccable service during our entire stay. The breakfast and the Christmas Eve dinner were wonderful . The concierge desk was very helpful in arranging for some last museum reservations and also some very good restaurant recommendations. We stayed in a connecting double room and the rooms are pretty big by European standards and housekeeping was available 24/7 to handle our requests. The location of the hotel is right next to the Louvre and other central attractions/shopping regions in Paris.

It would be great if they could add some more variety in their room service menu ( a bit more customisation if possible) and the daily breakfast menu. It gets a bit repetitive after 5-6 days.

Thanks to the Du Louvre for a memorable vacation.

Hotel du Louvre is beautiful, clean and in the best location. Our family of 5 was in one of their family suites. Rooms are beautiful, amazing views, so clean and comfortable. We had lots of space and bathrooms to all get ready at the same time and enjoy the sites. The Louvre is across the street, we walked mostly everywhere: Orsay, l'Orangerie, Jardin des Tuileries to Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe... Getting to Eiffel is very easy as well. Walking in the other direction is Opera Garnier, and more shopping at Galleries Lafayette and Printemps.. I could go on and on we are so happy with the location. All staff are extremely attentive, they helped us with taxis, airport transportation, made sure the room was always stocked with coffee, water and toiletries. The food is also outstanding at the hotel, and the many restaurants very close by. Oh - also, the gym!!! Couldn't believe the view, floor to ceiling windows, all equipment is modern and in perfect condition, water bottles, towels and sanitizing wipes always available. We have no negatives - Hotel du Louvre is the best!!!

I had a lovely vacation stay at this hotel. Everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. My Palais suite was beautiful! Much larger than I expected: very high ceilings, floor to ceiling double windows, and large bathroom. Everything was perfectly clean and in good order. The bedding was very comfortable, and the location is ideal for exploring Paris in foot. The metro stops right at the hotel.

There were a few drawbacks. The only available room in my reserved category was on floor 1. This meant I could hear walking above me, the activities of the square behind the hotel (including 3 days of covid protests), and the subway trains which operate directly underneath the hotel. The hotel can’t control any of this, but if you are unfortunate enough to be assigned floor 1, maybe pay to upgrade. The noise was an issue.

Another issue was room service. The restaurant was closed for the August summer holiday, so I had room service for breakfast. Maybe I should have ventured to a cafe. Regardless, my order was only correct on the first morning. Every other order had something incorrect or missing (like soup with no spoon). Not a huge deal, and staff was very fast to fix any problems. But a quick quality check before leaving the kitchen would give a better guest experience.

Finally, the photos of my suite type on the Hyatt app show a freestanding tub. There was no bathtub in my room.

However, the beauty and comfort of the room, great staff, and prime location overcomes the small issues. I would consider staying here again, and it’s worth noting the price point is excellent for luxury in this part of Paris.

I loved the neutral color schemes of this newly renovated hotel. The room was spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, a large screen TV with quality tea/coffee making facilities. Housekeeping kept the rooms extremely clean during our stay and provided the essential toiletries needed when traveling. Front desk and concierge were polite and helpful and the breakfast and dinner menu at the Brasserie was impressive. This hotel will be my first choice when we return to Paris.

Yes and yes. We decided it was not worth it b/c it was something like $6 a pair of underwear. We found a laundry service in town and had them do our entire load for something like $30.
