We checked in at Hotel icon on 21st of Dec 2023. This is not the 1st time we stayed here. We stayed here to celebrate birthday and we definitely made a good choice. One of our favourite place at hotel is the game room which located next to the pool bar on 9/F. It’s very clean and spacious. The pool and fitness center look very nice too. If the weather was not that cold, I would like to try them as well.
My Kids love the game room so much which was equipped with PS5 and various games!! Also the staffs Rey, Roy and Chris here are very polite and helpful!! Especially, Rey Shea really went above and beyond!! Our kids would like to play PS4 Spiderman game, however, everything here has been upgraded to PS5 which did not fit. Rey didn’t want my kids to be disappointed. He spent almost an hour to help us solve this problem patiently. From finding the old PS4 game disc, freeing the storage of the PS5, downloading & copying the file to PS5 etc . Finally, he makes our request comes true! We can play PS4 game by using PS5. Also, he recommended us to visit the Christmas display in kowloon west. It’s amazing! Thank you so much for making our stay a memorable one.

Took my wife and kids for an overnight staycation at Hotel Icon, staying in two club rooms. The package includes breakfast (at the market), afternoon tea and cocktails (in the club lounge). We also added on the buffet dinner option at the Market restaurant.
As local visitors, we drove and parked overnight at the hotel. Valet staff took our car downstairs for overnight parking, and as it is an electric car they charged it for us (giving us a full ‘tank’ ready on departure the next day).
The rooms themselves were fabulous. Really well laid out, clean, and with good quality furnishings. They added an extra bed to the kids room for our 3rd little one. Mini bar was free in our club floor rooms; and that was both unexpected and appreciated given how so many hotels nickel and dime you on stuff like that. They also included mobile telephones, with free local/international calls and data; but we didn’t need them. Wifi was included free, and gave a very respectable and usable 50Mbps up and down.
The package included high tea at the club lounge, starting at 3pm, and cocktails at 6pm. After that we went down to the Market restaurant for their amazing buffet. It was mostly Asian style food - the beef rending, curry puffs, and desert selection was particularly well done.
Throughout our stay we had access to the pool on the ninth floor, as well as gym and games room (PlayStation, table football, and snooker). There is a spa, but we didn’t have time to try it.
Overall, even with just a single night stay, it was a great experience and really felt like a vacation. The facilities were excellent, but it was the staff that made the difference - their smiles were genuine and they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Would definitely stay again.

The Club Getaway Package is indeed a great choice to go for family who would like to share all the moments together without hassle of planning a day, as we had all planned for you - Starting with an afternoon tea, pool time, cocktail hours and then a lovely dinner ending the night, and start the other day with another swim or work out and recharged at our extensive breakfast at The Market! The recreation area on 9/F would be another great resources to enjoy with the games together. It is rewarding to know your family felt like a vacation at our hotel while travelling is somehow restricted. You are so true that it would be even more enjoyable if one can squeeze in a spa which could feel like in Thailand! We just stayed one night in Hotel Icon with “Above & Beyond Club Getaway” package. We got a memorable experience in this hotel. The package includes the market lunch buffet, afternoon tea, cocktails period , free mini-bar and breakfast. The room is spectacular and clean. Facilities and amenities are good and sufficient. The water filter inside bathroom was much appreciated to avoid using plastic bottles of water. For the service, especially need to mention Ginny Wong in Guest Relation team , who provides the perfect customer service during our stay. She is friendly & professional. We enjoyed chatting with her during our stay:)
We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering a stay in Kowloon and wants luxurious rooms for a reasonable price.

Barely wrote reviews but this one surely worth our effort. Didn't stay in hotels in Hong Kong that much but since the pandemic we planned for a local getaway. Honestly, if it wasn't for our anniversary, we wouldn't have stayed somewhere else but home so we're extra strict when it came to selecting the right hotel. The hotel does provide all sorts of protection in various public areas and visible 'I've been cleaned' badge in high touch points in guestroom. Not only do they put forward measures for customers but also for their staff too, which is definitely plausible. We were upgraded to the harbour side - truly great view in the evening. The size was generous 360sqft and minibar came in free. Not a full pantry but nice enough when we just wanted a sip or two on the fizzies.
During stay we had our lunch at the lobby Green restaurant. The service was amiable and it's all about the ambiance. Wall garden idea just makes the whole dining time relaxing. Yet the lunch period has been hectic but compliments to food and beverage manager Alex who could still pull the place neat and tidy and came to check on us while the place was full of diners - plus the extra cleaning they needed to do during the pandemic. Good example for their interns too since I've read it's a university hotel.

I have been in Hong Kong for almost 5 years now and oh boy this family trip was one of the best I would cherish for the months to come. The idea to have a short stay over the weekend was to give a slight pause to our usual city life. I heard this package through a friend who suggested me to have a look online as to how the room is decorated with a Tent and some toys for my daughter, she is 16 months old. The check in was super smooth very much convenient as we were taken to a lounge. My wife and daughter could relax by the time I finish the check in formalities. Soon after that we were shown our suite, which was ready on our arrival and sanitized completely. Hotel Icon shuts the door with a sticker once it's sanitized and only the guest before entering removes the sticker.
Mr. Lavin Samtani (Director F&B) knew it was my birthday a day before and I must say the service he and his team provided were the highlight of my stay. As soon as I entered there were two cards, one from the Icon Team wishing me and another from Lavin wishing me and my family and also being kind to let me know that I can WhatsApp him in case I need anything. Adding a personal touch always changes my perspective of any service and I’m sure it’s the same for everyone.
Pro’s of the Package, 1) Room is childproof, so in case you have a child around 12-18months who climb and run around, all the furniture with pointed edges had the child safe plastic stuck to avoid a child to get hurt 2) Tent and it’s layout in the room is amazing with some board games, soft toy, a small pillow, blanket. A cozy for even me and my wife to give it a try 3) The package included a HK 1300 coupon for F&B which was good for a family of 3. We ordered snacks in evening, dinner. Breakfast was complimentary. So ideally we didn’t pay anything extra.
All together a trip worthwhile. I will recommend this to all my friends and colleague who have young children 1-6 years for sure. Cheers

We spent the weekend at the Hotel Icon to celebrate a big birthday and we could not have been more impressed. The room (we splurged and went for the Club 80 Harbour Suite) was so incredibly spacious it was hard to believe we were still in Hong Kong. The views from the huge windows were a constant reminder! Panoramic views of HK's iconic buildings and peaks - it was very difficult to leave the room! Wonderful special touches for my birthday and thoughtful attention and service from the staff. Shout out to Ginny from guest services who went out of her way to make my birthday weekend special. Harbour Suite includes some evening perks at the bar so make sure you schedule some time for that! Breakfast staff were incredibly helpful and working overtime as the buffet moved to more of an a la carte approach in an effort to maintain extreme cleanliness due to COVID19. We will definitely be back and we will definitely be recommending to our friends. We got a nice deal by booking directly with the hotel so make sure you check that out!

Cannot fault this hotel, the service was great, the food was lovely and the rooms are really well thought out with all the amenities you could ask for. To top it off the sky pool is amazing with possibly some of the best views we saw whilst in Hong Kong. The relaxation lounge and changing rooms were perfect for as we had a late flight with the added bonus of complimentary drinks and snacks. I also love that they are making an effort to be more sustainable providing a drinking water tap in the room and not giving out mini shower gels/shampoo etc. but rather having big refillable bottles. We left this hotel with a smiles on our faces.

Previously booked a room for Valentine's day at W hotel, but due to the news of a couple who got a virus infection from that hotel areas, we decided to book ICON instead. Considering my Kid's need, instead of checking in on Valentine's day we moved our booking on weekend as swimming pool has been restricted to be opened just on Saturday and Sunday, thanks Jeff. I previously booked a room package $1080,a package of above and beyond club $1800 decided to upgrade it with buffet brunch, semi breakfast at the market, an afternoon tea at the above and beyond 28 Floor. (Not really a selection of pastries and dessert, just few on a plate, for the evening cocktail didn't went for it) My kiddo did enjoyed the pool so much and the snooker too. (Swimming pool water could be warmer as it was still too cold it's on high floor). Stayed in house the whole time, gladly had fun too at the gym with it's high ceilings and great work out facilities facing the pool and harbour. Thank you for the coffee and tea being offered as self- service at the bar station on 9 floor, yet I think this could have been served to the customer as staff were not busy at their post as no people were swimming too. With high end hotel they do offer water immediately to the guest going on pool without even asking as they needed to drink water after a few laps at swimming. Even just one day holiday, you wanted to be served, pampered, indulge and enjoy. Overall, it was nice but needs some improvement.

My wife & I stayed at Hotel Icon for a mid-week escape just to get some time to ourselves away from the kids.
The rooms are comfortable & well-appointed for the price point, and we were especially impressed with and appreciative of the efforts they go to being a sustainable hotel, especially the filtered water faucet in the bathroom! Saves so many bottles.
The pool is very comfortable with decent # of beds to sunbathe and isn’t in the shadow of many surrounding buildings, unlike many other city hotels in Hong Kong.
By far the highlight of our stay though was the restaurant’s flagship restaurant Above & Beyond (天外天), with fabulous views of the Hong Kong skyline, absolutely exquisite Cantonese food and exceptional service. I’d like to specially highlight Ken & Kelly who looked after us that evening (Tue 10 Aug), we’re attentive without being suffocating, and made excellent food recommendations. We left full & happy with delicious flavours lingering on our tongues.
All in all a fab city getaway at this price point, highly recommended!

The hotel is better than I expected, eco-friendly as well which is surprising for HK hotel standard. They even have a filtered water tape in every room which is THE BEST feature I have seen in any hotels. The staff in general are nice and helpful. The restaurent staff Stefan is extremely accommodating while we dine in. Highly recommend overall.

Regarding the COVID-19 case #150 in Hong Kong reported a previous guest from Hotel ICON, the guest left the hotel in approximately an hour after check-in. After the reported case, we worked with Centre for Health Protection, Department of Health and our third party contractor for necessary actions, including deep cleaning and sanitization. Our hotel monitors the situation of COVID-19 closely and adapts accordingly to prioritize the health and well-being of guests and staff at the Hotel ICON.
