- RecreationVNew York City, NY409 contributionsWe visited the Hot Springs several times, going in the afternoon when crowds had thinned out. Loved that there were 5 different temperature pools, something for everyone. The pools were large, the grounds were nicely maintained and clean. We found about an 1 - 1 1/2 hours to be enough time for us to soak, relax and head home for dinner after an otherwise busy day.Written March 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bk2nature3 contributionsAwesome place, clean with hard to find private pools where You can adjust the water temperature. Private. Geothermal, natural, no chemicals.Written January 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- roadbum166018 contributionsThis is a RV park currently being taken over by the state (who I assume is adding it to their Fork of the Yankee Spring park. At the time I made a reservation, the local people running it took the res. Great RV and camping park. We used our tent this time camping in a nice grassy field, (something we don't get to do much. They feature a very nice hot springs pool as well. The only problem we had was the bathroom, one toilet and one shower stall. Most folks staying here are obviously here for the hot springs.Written September 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MichiganMelissa04Plymouth, MI672 contributionsThis place is magical. We managed to get the hotspring right along the river by the falls, and it felt like we were in an enchanted land. Do be careful - the first hotspring we waded into was actually very hot. The one along the river was noticeably cooler and more comfortable. It was definitely worth the 2-hour drive from Boise. An unforgettable day. Sadly there was some [not much thankfully] garbage left by some irresponsible folks. If you can, bring a bag and pick up. We managed to pack out some other people's garbage in our towels. Also, wearing water shoes is a good choice on the rocks. I was also advised to bring a hand-towel size towel to put on a rock to sit on so it wouldn't snag my bathing suit and to make it more comfortable. That was probably a good choice.Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- where2nextbabeTroy, MO609 contributionsWe had never seen a geyser before so this was exciting to see! Easy to find and a small tiny visitors center next to it. If you’re in the parking lot looking towards the geyser, it’s way to the left. Almost looks like one of the businesses.
Anyway, there is no fee for parking or to watch the geyser that spouts off every hour on the hour. There is a platform above and a walking path/ deck around the geyser, so many places to view it from.
It did not seem wheelchair or stroller accessible.
The water is fairly warm that runs down from it when it’s not going.
The actual event lasted well over 6 minutes. I figured it would only last 1-3 minutes, but it just kept going. We thought it was a great stop along our journey towards Lava Hit Springs and Idaho Falls.Written July 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were there the day before Labor Day, so it was crowded and there was about a 30 minute wait to get in. They no longer require proof of vaccine, even though the website says they do.Written September 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael SBoise, ID53 contributionsTook a group of students here to enjoy the pool and hot tub. First time here and we were so happy with Roystone Hot Springs. The price is right, it is super clean, the staff are amazing.Written February 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Damon Vitangeli1 contributionWe love Downata!
The camp ground is clean and the staff is very helpful and responsive to campers.
The water is the perfect temp and does not have a sulfur smell.
We love the Yurts...very cozy (could use a little updating),
The snack bar is actually really, really good. The food is fresh, tasty and fairly priced. The shakes cant be beat!
I wish the soaking pools would open earlier in the Summer. :)Written June 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Hosts were cordial and the inn looked like someplace we might stay. Not crowded, but quiet and clean. I'm guessing there will be upkeep on the decks during the warmer weather. Will come back here again.Written February 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KimN_WAPort Orchard, WA40 contributionsWhat a lovely place. We rode Magruder Corridor on ATVs and were so pleased to stay here. There are a few upgrades in process and the evidence is there to see. The owners, who have been there less than a year, and their children are friendly and accommodating. We felt very welcomed. We intend to return.Written August 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Tobia RileyCaldwell, ID34 contributionsThis was our second stay at Mundo Hot Springs. They have done a lot of imporovement since our last stay. The office/restaurant is a new building, and it is very nice. The bathroom behind the main office is very new and clean. The hot pool was wonderful. The woman who checked us in was very kind and helpful. The campground offers free wifi, but it was spotty at times.
The property loses one star on account of the partial hookup camping sites. Althogh they are very long, they are extremely close to each other. There are no privacy hedges or trees between the sites. When we exited our RV, the RV next to ours was parked so that their exit steps were facing our exit steps. There was just a feeling of no privacy whatsoever.
If you plan to camp here, I would recommend an end spot. That way, you only have one RV next to you, instead of two.
We would camp here again, but reserve an end space.Written October 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The manager was very friendly and willing to help, there was live music that was really good! The large pool had slats on the walls, which could be much better if they gave good maintenance in general.Written April 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ZziaTexas65 contributionsWhat an incredible experience. Nicely laid out rock pools, easily accessible off the highway, with natural temperature control due to the mixing of the hot water with the cold river water. Definitely recommend.Written July 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paul C94 contributionsHeard about this place for years, finally visited.
As another reviewer said, it is not a 5-star location...and that's OK! It's historic and a great place to take the kids for a fun afternoon.
We've visited both natural and ultra-developed hot springs and this one is definitely "middle-of-the-road" in terms of development. It's old, but it all still works!
If you know you are going to a rustic experience, then you won't be disappointed.
My personal suggestions: more fresh air in the main area and/or slightly cooler pool temp. We left sooner than expected because we were too hot.Written December 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
