- Jen WFenton, MI289 contributionsWe wanted an authentic old fashioned bath experience, and got it at Quapaw Baths. We opted for a 30 minute couples bath with micro oxygen bubbles. It was worth the moderate cost to be able to soak in a real tub, without swimsuits. Had we been with family we would have done the public pool option, which looked nice as well.
Tip: tour the museum at the NPS welcome center first. It will give you an idea of what the baths were like in previous times.

Green trails were very beginner safe and thoroughly enjoyed by both the children and the avid cycling adults in our party. Trails are well marked and easy to follow. - dbinhou7511Houston, TX1,611 contributionsView over Hot Springs was nice. Better was the drive up the mountain through the trees and then walking on the trails. Some of the trails are a bit steep. There are a lot of rooms to wander through! We felt there were a lot of interesting pieces to look at. Sometimes places are full of junk and not necessarily finds. To date, I've been unsuccessful! When we travel to Hot Springs, we never miss a show! Blade Maxwell is also hilarious! Whether you're looking for a large statement piece or just a lovely piece for a small powder room, you'll find it here. I had been to a glassblowing demonstration before and thought I knew what to expect, but The Riley brothers exceed all expectations. From the first warm greeting to the last farewell, it was a total emersion in art in general and, very specifically in glass. The demonstration itself was magical and so, so informative. And the glass, ah the glass. Even if you don't have time for a demonstration, go for the glass. It is pure one-of-a-kind art at extremely reasonable prices. Knowing that I was flying home I asked to have it shipped and it arrived speedily, impeccably packed.
