The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. Check in was a pretty quick and smooth process. The service was good and the employees were very friendly. Only thing that would have made my stay better would have been to actually win some money.

We did not stay at the hotel but have in the past, the rooms are nice and the facility is beautiful. The casino is not terribly smokey. Do not sit with your back to a wall you will never be ask if you would like a drink.

My girlfriend and I decided to drive up the morning of from Texas. The hotel was great, and there was a shuttle service to the Horseshoe so we could enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about driving around. The staff at the Horseshoe was wonderful, the food was great and I ate too much at the buffet.

Our family of three stayed for one night. The room looked nice and clean. The room had also definitely been fumigated when we entered and by the time we got in bed the cigarette smoke was very strong. I had called three times earlier in the evening to try to get some extra pillows to support my back, but each call resulted in no contact with housekeeping or the front desk and being placed on hold by the operator for extended periods on each call. I had finally gone down to the front desk myself and asked about the pillows, and I was told they had none extra in the entire hotel. So, when I called about the cigarette smoke smell to make sure that we weren't charged for this violation, I sat on hold more than 20 minutes, determined to see if someone would answer finally. When the front desk finally answered, and asked me how I was doing, I said I've been on hold for about 20 minutes and was glad to speak to Erica, who had answered. She replied "well you're not on hold now, you're speaking to me, what can I do for you?" Which means of course, don't tell me your complaints about waiting just shut up and tell me what's wrong. Customer service efficiency and professional skills are definitely lacking. Maybe having an attractive hotel means that you don't really have to be nice or even moderately considerate to your customers?

Having Sanela as a host at the Horseshoe means there is nothing that is left undone! Smooth reservations for hotel and restaurants allows for a care free experience. Her attention to detail is a constant reassurance that "You are the Guest."

The only thing I think I think might be prohibited is swim wear, tank tops and bare feet. Most are dressed somewhere between business casual to t shirts and shorts.
