Endless Victory is unbeaten in two starts thus far and he just about got his head in front over course and distance last month. He should improve plenty for the run and the step up to Listed level is the logical move.

Endless Victory is unbeaten in two starts thus far and he just about got his head in front over course and distance last month. He should improve plenty for the run and the step up to Listed level is the logical move.
Bold Style won a Chelmsford novice impressively on his penultimate start and he appeared to need the run when third over course and distance last month. Boiling Point finished in front of him that day but Charlie Appleby’s colt can reverse the form this time around.
Time Lock bolted up in a Group 3 over course and distance last season and probably would have preferred better ground when seventh at Ascot in the Group 1 British Champions Fillies and Mares. The good ground here is more suitable and Harry Charlton is in good form.

Tactical Move has progressed nicely over fences this season and he won a Grade 3 at Naas back in March, before finishing second to Spillane’s Tower in Grade 1 company at Fairyhouse. The winner has since boosted the form and Tactical Move’s handicap mark could be very generous.
Its On The Line was just denied at the Cheltenham Festival and kept on strongly to win the Foxhunters’ at Aintree. He certainly looks like the strongest horse in this division at the moment and could prove hard to beat, with Derek O’Connor on board once again.
State Man is undoubtedly Ireland’s best two-mile hurdler and he’s unbeaten in four starts this season. Punchestown seems to suit him better than Cheltenham and there’s no major reason to expect that he’ll get turned over here.
Ballyburn is probably the most exciting horse in training at the moment and he was utterly dominant in the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham. None of his rivals looks like getting near him here and another impressive victory should be on the cards.
Lark In The Mornin improved significantly to win the Boodles at Cheltenham in March and the fourth has boosted the form by winning earlier this week. The four-year-old’s profile suggests he can progress again and he carries 6lb less than his older rivals.

Fier Jaguen won this race last year and was victorious in three of his four subsequent starts in point-to-points. He looks like the one to beat once again and is much the best horse in the race on all known form.

Brosay did well to finish third at Dundalk last time out, having got upset in the stalls. A better start should provide the perfect opportunity to get off the mark for a trainer whose only other runner at the track was successful.
English Oak ran a career best when dropped down to 6f for the first time at Ascot in October. He was second by a neck off a 1lb lower mark on just his fifth start. There should be loads more to come and this looks like a good starting point for the season.
Spanish Star certainly knows his way around Goodwood and 50 per cent of his total career victories have come here. He looks particularly well handicapped on the evidence of his course and distance third off a 2lb higher mark in August and should run his race once again.
The conditions are going to play a major role here at Goodwood and Desperate Hero is the only one of the five runners to have won on heavy ground. This gives him a significant advantage and he’s been dropped 1lb since his last run.
