Account customers
If you require a courier service on a regular basis, simply register as an account customer+ to enjoy preferential rates and both on demand and scheduled pick-up service ("On Demand and Scheduled Collection"). You may also post your items over the counter at any post office.
* The registered pick-up address must be located within our service areas.
Non-account customers
Simply post your items over the counter at any post office. Charges are calculated on a per item basis. Items can be prepared either over the counter at post office by filling in the Local CourierPost form (Pos 651) or on 24/7 "EC-Ship" online platform (ec-ship.hongkongpost.hk).

Easy and convenient way of posting
As an account customer, simply call the Pick-up Centre whenever you need courier service, and we will collect and deliver your item to any location within our service areas. If you have recurring courier service needs, you can choose regular scheduled pick-up service by prior arrangement with us. A minimum of 5 or more LCP items per pick-up trip is required. Both account and non-account customers may post items over the counter at any post office.
Cut-off times for your added convenience
The cut-off times for telephone call pick-up service and counter service of Local CourierPost have been set for your convenience.
Highly reliable with money-back guarantee
For items posted before the cut-off times of a working day, we guarantee on-time delivery# to our service areas*. Otherwise, you will receive a refund on the delivery charge.

Service available on Sundays and public holidays
Pick-up service is available to account customers on Sundays and public holidays with prior arrangement. Selected post offices are open on Sundays.
Uniform charge rates with extensive service areas
Uniform rates are charged for items posted or delivered anywhere in our extensive service areas including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, major areas in the New Territories and the Airport.
Proof of delivery
Proof of delivery records for items successfully delivered will be kept by Hongkong Post and provided upon request within 5 months from date of posting.
Maximum Size Requirement
The maximum size of each item should not be greater than 358mm x 250mm and thickness should not not exceed 50mm. The item should be packed in accordance with normal postal regulations.
Highly flexible charges, excellent value for money
Account customers
No pre-payment of service fee is needed. A monthly invoice will be sent to you for settlement. Charges are calculated according to the Charge Table for Account Customers. The standard weight limit per item is 1 kg. Items over 1 kg will be charged an additional of $16 per kg per item. Maximum weight per item is 5 kg^.
^ For the items delivered to and picked up from Tuen Mun industrial area, Yuen Long Industrial Estate, Tung Tau industrial area and Fanling (On Lok Tsuen), the maximum weight per item is 2 kg.
Non-account customers
Delivery charge is calculated on a per item basis. For posting at mobile post offices, the maximum weight limit is 2 kg per item. For posting at other post offices, the maximum weight limit is 5 kg per item. (However, for items sent to or collected from major areas in the New Territories B, the maximum weight is 2 kg per item.)

Items will be available for collection at the designated post office by its close of business on the next working day after the item is posted*. Addressee must bring along necessary documents to pick up the item from post office during office hours.
* Sender and addressee will receive our email or SMS notification when the item is available for collection at designated post office.
Note: Item that are not collected within 14 days will be returned to the sender

If the addressee receives an email notifying him/her that the item is available for collection, he/she has to set up a personal collection code via a hyperlink provided in the email. Please bring along a printed copy of the email notification, your valid proof of identity and the collection code to the designated post office to collect the item and sign for receipt.
