Ceiling at lobby of Hong Kong Funeral Home in North Point collapses, no injuries reported

4th May 2020 – (Hong Kong) The 150 m2 ceiling in the lobby of the Hong Kong Funeral Home in North Point collapsed yesterday (3rd) morning. The rubble was scattered on the floor. No one was injured in the incident. The workers cleaned the scene after the incident. The cause of the accident is unknown.

It is reported that a giant potted plant was placed in the centre of the funeral home lobby. It is believed that the floor tiles were damaged during the incident. The potted plant was used to temporarily cover the damaged location. The funeral operation has not been affected as there were prayer ceremonies being carried out.
