This hotel is location just 10 mins' walk to Herod's Gate but is away from the busier part of the city as it is not located on the main street. The room was pretty spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. There is also rain shower in the bathroom. Service of staff was good and they will help you book a transport to Tel Aviv if needed. Breakfast spread was decent. Overall, a good hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a tour and our initdial impression was good. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Herod's Gate and only a 7 min walk to the more interesting Damascus Gate. There are lots of shops and eating places in the surrounding streets and we had a view of the Dome of the Rock. Our room on the 3rd floor was a decent size and the bathroom was good, WiFi also was ok and breakfast had plenty of choice, but of average quality.
There were various small annoyances that included sheets too small for the king size beds, no tissues or water provided and low level electrical noise all through the night. The hotel overlooks a school whose playground is used as a parking lot until 9pm. This means around 15 mins of horn blowing until it's empty at 9.15. We're light sleepers and also heard the " call to prayer" at 5am each morning, but this may not be a problem for others who sleep more soundly.

Had no idea where to stay and this place worked out great. Price was really good too. Nothing fancy but the location near Damascus gate made for good exploring, though to some it may seem a little sketchy coming back later at night, though perhaps that was mainly due to it being Ramadan. Glad I didn’t stay in some glass tower in the newer part of the city.

Such a great hotel. It is perfectly located less than 10 minutes walk to Damascus Gate and the gateway to the old city. The hotel itself is quiet even when busy and has a great vibe of international travellers. Breakfast was buffet-style and plenty of choice, the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and all-in-all it was just perfect. We were on the third floor and overlooking the city wall and Dome of the Rock. What more would you need?

This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to Hērōd’s Gate and Damascus Gate for old city. We recently stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour that we were on and found staff to be really helpful and we were lucky enough to have a room that overlooked Dome of the Rock. Could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel and we enjoyed breakfast on offer. Easy walk to a number of restaurants at dinner time.

Hotel Manager Ms. Rania is a very rude and not professional. My family of four arrived for a 3 night stay. She told us the water was not working and would need to go to another hotel!
There were many guests arriving and checking inn.
The hotel had clearly overbooked and was lying to us.
The hotel she wanted to send us to was cheaper than the Holy Land.
At first Rania said she would pay for our stay at the cheaper place.
After we agreed to move there she said the full price will be taken for our booking, even the new hotel was £250 cheaper on booking.com!!!
When challenged she became EXTREMELY aggressive and I kept my cool and left calmly.
Be very careful here as this is common in the old city the rooms get overbooked. But to be treated in such a cowboy manner was shocking. I would not advise any one to stay here.

I was woken by chanting Muslims at all hours. I asked for a plug for my sink so I could wash clothes — never happened. Speaking of clothes, was there a dresser or some shelves to store them? No! I had to live out of my suitcase for 5 days. Taxi cabs from the Israeli side of town wouldn’t take us back there. The breakfast hall was crowded with tour groups. No good restaurants in walking distance. I will stay on the west side of town next time.

We are happy to have chosen this hotel. It’s located near the major spot, the attention of the staff: receptionists, maids, waiters, cooks and security man is excellent. The room we were in was very big and comfortable, always clean, towels changed every day, abundant tea and coffee in the room. Finally, the breakfast: delicious. Thank you for your hospitality!

Good location near the Herods gate and light train/bus station . Ac doesn't work well and the View restaurant is closed and off limits while the hotel advertise the view over the old city. Breakfast is doable.

What is the best way to get to this hotel from Ben Gurion Airport?
Answer from FR_Jerusalem
San Francisco, California3 contributions3 helpful votes
There is a public bus directly from the airport parking very cheap. Incidentally we were the only passengers along with one other person on the bus. It was 48 shekels for all of us, 3 adults and two toddlers. It took us to the central bus station in Jerusalem. We took a taxi from there for 50 shekels. The conversion rate is about 3.70 so in all that’s $25-$30 Also, while on our travel we discovered that rental cars are approximately $9-10/day. Uber also available when needed.
