Premium Jordan
Premium JordanMo was an excellent tour leader in that he has such passion and enthusiasm about Jordan. I learnt so much about the history and culture and so enjoyed all of the activities. Mo went over and beyond to ensure my dietary needs were met as I have coeliac disease which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this tour.

Highlights of the Holy Land Best Experience - 8 Days
Highlights of the Holy Land Best Experience - 8 DaysWe had the most amazing guide Leah Dor and the best driver Hassan they both was so lovely, accomodating and went out their way to be so helpful and gave us some extra nice suprises throughout the tour. Everything was a good pace, never rushed and saw so much place and Leah was an expert with knowledge. Transfer drivers was on time when arrived plus to leave. Reliable company and organised well. Only thing, if you want to visit where Jesus was born inside the church, there is a big que and it is not part of this tour as this is just the highlights, they visit the church but not to que for certain things like that which many was not aware of so read the intinary clearly

Heritage of the Holyland Tour - 8 days
Heritage of the Holyland Tour - 8 daysHow to possibly precis this holiday into one review? The five stars I have given to this tour are completely earned. This was a holiday, an experience and a pathway to new friendships like no other I could have imagined. Whatever hotel standard you travel at, the accommodation was excellent, the food superb. We stayed at the Prima Hotel group during our stay and the hotel was accommodating and very clean. The food was varied and excellent and the staff helpful. On to the tour! If you are not a morning person, you may want to get some practice! Each morning at 8am Mohammad the rather excellent driver would meet us in the reception to take us to the coach. The tour would start as soon as everyone was collected and away we go! Every day is packed with activities, which our knowledgeable guide Orna would prepare us for in an informative and detailed way without ever becoming boring. And when I mean packed - my word is it! But... don't worry that it is rushed. Every place we visited we got to with plenty of time to spare, each place we could explore and take photographs. Whether it was walking up the side of a man made mountain at Herodius or visiting the very gates of the legendary cave of Hell, touching the stone where Jesus fed the five thousand or seeing the manger itself in Bethlehem, there was time for everything. Our party had a member that had difficulty in walking and great care was taken to ensure that she missed out on nothing. Special transport was arranged where it was needed and of course the rest of the group, which had came together as a small community under the excellent Orna, was more than happy to work together to ensure that every person on our tour got the best they possibly could from it. Was it a spiritually moving journey? Yes of course it was! But also historically it was incredible to see the location of the Walls of Jericho, to visit and learn from the incredible Yad Vashem, to see the location that the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and to float in the impressively salty Dead Sea. Every thing that I could have hoped to accomplish through the tour was accomplished and more besides. So, finally let's get on to the food - essential for anyone wanting to walk those ancient hills and paths! Breakfast is of course included and please do load up on energy foods as you will need it! I found a new love for huge amounts of humus during this time as well as fresh bread, fruid, pastries and delicious local cheeses among many other delights. Lunch is usually bought using dollars and works out at about 12-20 dollars a person. Food is usually excellent and purchased from small concessions areas linked to the larger attractions. The quality of these places is slightly variable and naturally can vary depending on how late the group arrives however I have two very important tips for anyone on this tour; 1. Qumran's cafe. No disrespect to anyone involved however I would suggest you decide for yourself before eating there to ensure the food is freshly cooked and the surfaces cleaned properly. This was the ONE and ONLY thing I would warn about. And this is nothing at all to do with the tour operators. 2. Bethlehem's food is INCREDIBLE. The place Mohammad takes you to is the best food establishment by far, the people polite and the prices incredibly reasonable. Most of our coach were needing to take a few slow minutes before getting on the bus after that feast! So, to the summary. I suggest you go on this trip. I promise that you will enjoy it. Go into it with an open mind, ready to make new friends, learn new things and try new foods and I promise you will have, like I did, the best holiday you have ever had. I know it is rude to review people - but Orna and Mohammad are 10/10 - you can not find better. Go. Thank me later! Cris & Amanda.

Heritage of the Holy Land
Heritage of the Holy LandItinerary covered all the places we wanted to see. The accommodation for tourist class was a little too far from the main city centre especially in Jerusalem (we were at Rimonim and had to take tram plus additional bus or taxi to get to and from the main centre of Jerusalem) and also Tiberias (stayed at Prima where we had to walk up and down a hill for 25 minutes to get to the seafront). We took half board option and the hotel buffet dinners provided every night was delicious and well worth the cost! Breakfast was also good. Would recommend going outside of summer time as the heat can get quite unbearable at times especially with the outdoor sites included in the itinerary. Transportation to and from sites and airport transfers were excellent. Guide was knowledgeable. Overall, good experience!

Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Dead Sea 4-Day Excursion
Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Dead Sea 4-Day ExcursionThe tour was amazing! Masada sunrise - Ein Gedi - the Dead Sea - a wonderful mix of mountain hiking (not easy, but such a satisfaction from a successful ascent!), walking in the park and then relaxing in the Dead Sea. Jerusalem - history and modernity - it was interesting to see two sides of this city. And a cherry on the cake - a Tel Aviv bike tour - it was fantastic! Architecture, parks, history and especially the promenade - I enjoyed it so much! And also a complete delight from the hostel! There is a lovely lounge where a lot of events, nice bar and rooftop for guests to relax. Stunning atmosphere! The staff is friendly and professional - any help at any time. Thank you all, guys, you are amazing!

Experience Egypt & Jordan – 5* Cruise
Experience Egypt & Jordan – 5* CruiseWe had really enjoyed this history, sensory overload of wonderful Egypt. Our tour guide “Tiger” was very organised, extremely knowledgeable and made us feel safe at all times. He was constantly checking with us to see if we required any further information, great areas to view the magnificent sights of Egypt. I have rated this tour “Good”, this is no reflection of “Tiger” he was Excellent. The rating of good is due to the river cruise where the ship was not ready for tour due to “refurbishing” which was not completed when we boarded. We will say that the staff on board were very attentive to our needs - the meals were so flavourful. We would recommend this tour. Thank you 😁

Egypt & Jordan Jewel with Nile Boat Cruise
Egypt & Jordan Jewel with Nile Boat CruiseThis tour had it all…exotic sites, beautiful weather, and a good group. And then it had some downsides. A number of our group were confused by the online brochure that led to a misunderstanding that the tour price included entrance fees to sites, and that some of the “optional” were actually features of the regular tour order. There were a few who missed the suggestion they procure a Jordan Pass, which covered the admissions to the major sites, like Petra, and one’s substantial visa fee. The tour organization was also confusing. There were a number of company tours running concurrently, allowing the more efficient combining of groups for this or that site or option for this or that portion of the tour. As a result communications were sometimes confused. Sometimes there are too many moving parts. Here are the pros and cons – PRO: The tour itself offered a wonderful itinerary. While it was hectic, almost exhausting, it took you where you needed to go. A previous tour with another company was no different. So much to see and so little time. The buses were standard issue. (None offered frills. Even the toilets were decommissioned.) We arrived in Cairo two days early and the company arranged for us to be met and taken to our hotel. The rep (Muhammad) was invaluable when our luggage failed to arrive from our connection in Istanbul. We also arranged a tour with the company to Saqqara and Memphis. Our overnights were all acceptable, if not the Ritz. The Nile cruise ship was nice. The resort at Hurghada provided a much-needed break, and the rooms the best on the trip. Our guide Ramez was terrific. He kept the cats herded and informed. Things happened as per the itinerary. We were all happy. The highlights of Jordan were Petra, our desert “glamping” overnight, Mt. Nebo and the Dead Sea. Petra and the Dead Sea need no explanation. Mt. Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land, provided a spectacular view over the historic Jordan Valley. The desert overnight was beautiful, with the Wadi Rum quite the backdrop. Our host was a fine fellow, too. CON: Our guide, Zena, on the Jordan portion was a problem. We arrived at Amman and were taken to our hotel. The company rep there essentially met us and dropped us. No guide. Zena arrived at the hotel and spent the time on her phone, something she did continually. On tour, she had a habit of snapping fingers to attract attention and gather the group. It did not sit well with many, harking back to grade school days. One couple was without their luggage after flight from Cairo to Amman, and it became a growing sore point when, after being found, delivery became a problem. Zena did not appear effective or empathetic. Finally, at Wadi Rum, the dam broke and her disorganization and apparent “attitude” caused a breakdown with some. After a heated parking lot “discussion” she threatened a tourist with the police and then quit the tour. It was out of hand. Our bus driver essentially took calming control at that point – thank goodness. The company replaced Zena with Nobile, and things took an immediate turn for the better! He spoke to each of us to understand the situation, laid out the itinerary, and kept us informed. Frankly, he saved the tour. (Later, in conversation, he said he thought we were all good people, and couldn’t understand the previous guide’s problems.) Final Thoughts: Several among our tour noted that the need for a Jordan Pass was not sufficiently noted in the company’s materials. Some purchased on tour with the help of Ramez. Some, who joined us from another tour, ended up paying out of pocket at each Jordanian site and a visa fee. Many felt nickel-and-dimed by the separation of admission to sites and a tips pool surprised that they were not included in the tour price. Ramez handled all that well at our orientation meeting. Hotels were adequate. Something tour companies need to understand is that ‘net access is very important in today’s world, particularly to keep in touch with home. Several hotels offered sketchy connections. (Also recognize the infrastructure shortcomings in some places.) At least these should be noted in the itinerary details. Overall, the tour grades a “B”. We enjoyed ourselves while seeing a new part of the world and experiencing “bucket list” places and activities. Would we use Ex-Pat again? Several on the tour were long-time customers, saying they’d never experienced anything like our trip before. The answer is a firm “maybe”. It would depend on the itinerary and value. My advice is to read the itinerary closely, understanding that some of the sites you’ll see are not included in the price, and look for the extra charges unmentioned elsewhere. It all adds up.
