We went on a cool day. The weather seems to follow me. It was quite busy. We really enjoyed spending the day there. Plan on getting there when it opens as the presentations are all scheduled to follow each other with just a bit of time to eat or shop. The stage shows and actors do an excellent job of telling the story

Twenty seven actors played out a three part piece of persecuted Christians in Rome. Scriptoria gave a history of the bible as we know it. Wilderness tabernacle was re-enacted. Raising of Lazarus was re-enacted. A scale model of Jerusalem in 66 CE was described. Cost $10 to park in addition to the $50 to get in. ($40 active Military).

We traveled here in 2019 and I was awestruck by the place. We are visiting again this month. The intention to detail is incredible. While it isn't completely "authentic" (you can't have animals roaming the streets for example), you still get a wonderful feel for the biblical era Holy Land. Imagine if Disney created a Bible park and the detail that would be put into it. You will find much of that here.

The shows can be quite immersive. In the main theater we encountered the story of Jesus saving the woman from being stoned. Using the guide provided by the park, we then went to another theater which "followed" here to her home where she told others what had happened. It was just an incredible experience. The fact that we'd moved to a completely different environment to see what happened next really helped it come to life.

The Scriptorium is something to be savored. The artifacts inside are amazing and I feel very blessed to be able to see such pieces of history.

There's lots more to see and some great photo ops! I have over 50 photos spread across two posts on my website at curiousandcozy.com. There's also activities to do with your family, dining, and fun shopping too!

With anything, it is what you make of it. If you're looking for a religious experience, you can definitely find it at The Holy Land Experience.

Several Amazing live plays throughout the day. The good news gospel is shared in such a way that those who know Christ as well as those who don’t will be blessed. Great witnessing resource! My husband and I were in Orlando for a conference and stayed over for an extra day with plans to visit the Holy Land Experience. Almost didn’t go because our hotel concierge informed us they no longer carried information regarding the Holy Land Experience because of reports of its future closing. What a treat and blessing we would have missed!

Forget the theme parks! Bring your family here! Beautiful way to spend a day with family and/or friends. Compact and well laid out, and beautifully adorned with botanicals. The very talented actors brought the Bible message to life. Arrived at 9:30 on Tuesday. Easy to get to and easy to park. Had to leave by 3pm. We were sorry to miss the third part to a three part presentation and a tour of the Scriptorium! Would love to go back. Guides were amazing and helpful.

The venue is closed for unknown reasons and doesn’t even provide information about opening/closing. The tourists arrive there based on Google opening hour of 10 AM, wait there in front of the locked gate and leave. Even the parking lot was inaccessible.
All the theme parks in Orlando are open during COVID except this one. Looks like religious discrimination to me.

Soooo sad I thought I would go to Holy Land Experience after we “returned to normal what ever that is”. I was heart broken to read that the property has been sold and new owners plan to redevelop the land. So glad I was able to at least see it from the outside.

If you are in search of other Christian based places to strengthen or renew your faith, a place for miracles, and very interesting artifacts, might I suggest Biblewalk in Mansfield, Ohio. It is a non denominational - meaning everyone is welcome - museum that is amazing!!! There are 6 museums, display areas, Dinner Theater, and many, many, many collections of artwork dedicated to God. Lots to do in the area but plan on spending a full day there. It is a truly special place!!! Check it out!

This park was amazing! No rides. Loved the few plays we did manage to see. Our youngest son was not so impressed and did not enjoy himself other than when he was playing with the foam swords and shields in the gift shop. We ended up having to leave early because of this. I would have loved to stay till the end of the day! It’s definitely worth additional visits, just maybe next time it will be with my elderly mother or husband.

Was a good experience. Had heard and believe it has been more active years past. The shows were wonderful. Biblically sound I thought but need to quote scripture with address from the Bible and not just refer to it. Best part scriptorium with bible history. $10 to park and there is a $2 off coupon at brochure advertising stands. One per person. Take extra. worth supporting I think to help keep biblical opportunities open to visit.

We loved this place. The show was wonderful and inspiring inside a beautiful auditorium called the Church of all Nations. It was so nice to go to a place in the area that honors God. We learned some things that we didn't know before about the Word and ancient Israel. The scriptorium was very informative about the Bible and its beginning and spread. It is a beautiful place and we hope to go back again next year.
