The Society will be closed on October 14th  from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in observance of Columbus Day.  We will be open from 1-4 p.m. for retrieval of unsold sale items.

Any member of the Rutland Historical Society can nominate a candidate to fill an open general office or director position? Our Nominations committee present the nominations at our annual meeting for a vote. All of our members are invited to our annual meeting in October to vote! We need at least 10 members present for a quorum.
A "proper nomination" needs to be made by October 1, and shall be a current member who has previously agreed to their candidacy, and must not be barred from our "Limitations on Successive Terms" (Article V, section 2 of our By-Laws:
