I don't think its the best map. but it does offer allot in the ways of industry. to the west of Middleham there is a nice steel mill. you can feed 3 cities just from this one mill I usually set this line up first since coal and iron are huge money makers. Next on the top right of the map is a nice oil well and refinery. all of which can be serviced by trucks. This refinery can service the top right city very easily, and once you get faster trucks, the top center. is a good place to haul to. And then on the bottom you have another steel mil that can supply the bottom center city and the bottom right. So 3 industries serving all 7 cities. Makes a ton of money. Not a huge fan of the lake thow.

Description:
Awesome map with 15 low elevation cities connected by rivers and valleys. Easy to connect passenger lines for early game profit. Enough existing industry routes to grow several cities with ease.
Enjoy!

Thanks for this. started at 1850, and by 1890 already have over 150 milions made and just got Industrialist achievement and haven't even made a train route yet :)

I like this one, not too many hills.

Spent a couple hours yesterday going threw hundreds of seeds trying to find the perfect one to play on. My requirments where no giant lake, Iron and coal next to each other. and Oil and refineries across the map from each other. Here is the best one I found.

Seed: fffffffffffffffffffffffff
Mapsize: Small

hill: low

This map has 3 sets of Iron and coal right next to each other. With a nice long haul back to the smelter. It has 3 oil wells. With refineries on the oposite side of the map, Which is perfect for making those huge profits. So that takes care of 6 cities for the maximum hauling distance for the best profits. For your 7th city you have a choice of doing a coal and iron again, granted they are not right next to each other but they are fairly close and close enough to make a huge profit when you haul it across the map.

It is a bit hillier then I would like. but I am finding that working to my advantage since it is allowing me to make huge tunnel systems connecting everything and I am having multiple tracks crossing over each other in a spiderweb.

Okay, why do you want the smelter far away from the iron/coal ? and why oil far away from refinery? can you explain this to me?

longer distance = more profit
