Very typical mountain town. But still very nice. There's a great tourist center with clean bathrooms and a bottle refill station. Lots of shops and restaurants. Weekends are loaded with tourists.
Breckenridge is really high at 10,000 feet. The view of the mountains is less dramatic as you are up in them. And the oxygen is thin so take it easy!
This small town is cool to walk through. There are tons of shops that you can get extra winter items if you need them.
Tons of restaurants and very friendly folks in the shops. Easy to walk and meander along the river path too which is hands throw from main street. Pretty in the summer with the many flower baskets and flowers planted in planters. Well done Breck!
This is a beautiful quaint town . You can walk leisurely and you can also take a free trolley . Parking is abundant but you have to pay for it .
Many t-shirt stores .. perhaps too many selling the same things as one other poster mentioned .
Beautifully manicured parks and flowers everywhere ... just charming but my recommendation is go to the Barney Ford house or museum which is free ... Check the times it's open ..
Main Street is such a treat to visit. There are blocks and blocks of shops with many interesting items for sale. There are plenty of places to eat as well. What an entertaining way to spend the day!
Main Street is what sets this place apart from the rest of the Colorado ski resorts. There is much more to do along the street than other resorts offer. And the shops are all independently owned. We had a great time strolling and then eating there. Catch the stream that runs through the back side of Main Street for an enhanced walking experience.
