Great little place, quiet, comfortable cabins. Wood stove is great during cold days and nights. Good price and friendly staff. Heater in the living room was working then stopped. Lots of heat from the wood stove so no problem. Fire wood for stove and outdoor fire pit is free and there is enough for everyone to have some.

We had a wonderful time at our cabin and especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch or having a campfire outside. Dani was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and told us of nearby things to do. The cabins are spread out on the property so you feel like you have more privacy. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!! Maybe this winter. Thank you!

We rented Ma and Pa, their biggest cabin, for a family birthday celebration. We shopped in the town of Saluda (loved Mewdlics and the Old Hardware Store), grilled burgers on our own charcoal grill by our firepit, enjoyed fires in the Buck Stove while visiting in the living room on the new living room furniture, slept great in the beds, enjoyed the heated floors in the newly remodeled bathroom, hiked on the property to a little waterfall, and enjoyed a game of horse shoes. Great place to enjoy time with family and friends with a rustic feel but modern conveniences. Dani was very responsive to our requests for more firewood and towels when needed. We'll be back!

This is a wonderful place for a family gathering. It is in a beautiful location that is quiet and restful. The cabins are very clean and well equipped . It is a very good location since it is near restaurants in Saluda. It has a picnic area that is covered which is great for grilling out and entertaining.
It is near hiking trails, Asheville for shopping, art gallaries and entertainment and Hendersville which offers a little theater. It is also near Brevard which has great hiking and has a wonderful music program in the summer.
I highly recommend and plan to go back again.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here. We absolutely love it. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We live in Charleston, SC and love to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The porches are amazing, especially if you can sit there and listen to nature and pull out an amazing book. The weather has been amazing both times we have been. I wouldn't change anything about our experiences. This place has turned into my home away from home. Prices are amazing as well. You can literally stop by the local grocery store, grab some food, go to the cabins and cook. Best part, after you go to the store, you don't have to leave again! We can't wait to go back. Will definitely be another trip this year!

The cabin was immaculate when we arrived, it had everything our family of 5 needed. Linens, towels, and kitchen items. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. There was nothing that they did not offer to help with; more towels, done! when we needed more kindling items for our fire pit, done! More toilet paper, done! There is nothing that you would really need while you are staying here other than groceries. The Ingles is about 15 min away, not bad at all. Green River is also 15 min away. Overall, location, cleanliness, friendliness, this is the place to bring your family to.

We stayed at the High Top cabin. Wonderfully peaceful. Two porches to sit in rockers and just enjoy the scenery and listed to the creek. We spent a week there and enjoyed the nearby areas; Saluda, Hendersonville, Chimney Rock, and Asheville. We will definitely stay here again.

Great secret for a total mountain experience!!! The cabins are rustic but also have all you need for the total mountain experience! Close to so many things and the cute towns, Saluda and Flat Rock! The property is beautiful and they recently added two onsite trails that lead to beautiful views! We are taking our entire family(24) back on Labor Day! The covered picnic area, complete with a fire pit is next to their playground! We cannot wait!! Schedule your trip today! You will not be sorry! This is a hidden gem!!

Wow!
Knocked it out of the park! We had very specialized needs and Danny and Barry bent over backwards to take care of us.
Anyone considering a stay in the woods would do well to book here. Can’t say enough about this place. Unforgettable. Thanks again!

The cabin was a perfect mountain get away in a cool little hisotric town. The cabin is well cared for and everything worked well. The wood stove on a cool night was special.
Buzzard roost was our cabin. The couch was not very cozy, but it was okay. The firepit was perfect and they provide the wood.

It’s about 50-100 yards from the stream-fed pond. We have 7 cabins and 15 acres and you might see other guests out and about during your visit, especially at common areas like the playground.
