Our group of five adults and 2 children, ages twelve and nine, were greeted by friendly, professional guides. They instilled the need for safety and immediately made us feel comfortable. I,personally am afraid of heights, but so wanted to do the Zipline. I felt scared and safe all at the same time. The experience was fun for all and I would happily do it again.

We had a wonderful time at Refreshing Mountain. We spent the day with our grand daughters ages 10 and 12. We first went on the Nature Walk and learned some great new things about reptiles thanks to Matt. Next we did the Zip line / Challenge. We had Dan and Dan as our guides and protectors and rescuers. Our oldest grand daughter finishes all 9 challenges. The other one, along with her pops, chose to be tree huggers after the first 5. The first 5 are considered the easy ones and the next 4 are "hard". All are tough if you ask me but we all made it thru the first 5. I decided to follow our oldest grand daughter thru the hard course but only got half way thru the second one and just lost it. Dan had to come out and rescue me. Never however did we feel unsafe. We were well protected from injury with our harnesses and guides. We look forward to doing this again ........ Just the Zip
lining next time however:)

Took my family of six to RM and we loved it. We camped with a pop-up camper at one of the campsites and it was quiet, clean, and thoroughly enjoyable. Staff is friendly and the grounds are extremely well-maintained. They've been doing lots of work and it shows. A lot is new. The kids love the playground and the pool. Lots to do in Lancaster too although you can be perfectly fine not leaving the campground.
I took 3 of the kids (ave 13, 12, 9) on the zip line course and they loved it. My wife took our 5 year old on an activity where he got to shoot slingshots, bow and arrow, and visit the reptile nature center and she said it was great.
