This is Plummer Farms on the Plummer Rd in Weeks Mills. The house, barns and out buildings still look the same today. The fields have changed some- all hay fields and pasture now. The right side of the V driveway is also gone along with a majority of the front lawn, the road was moved closer to the house at one point- I’m not sure the year.

The house I was born in. The old Brannon farm on the Fawn Grove-Gatchelville Rd.

This was Wilson and Bertha Mannings home in Weeks Mills. They were friends of my Great Grandparents who started our family’s farm just up the hill. The hayfield in the photo is one of ours. Unfortunately this house looks much different these days- it’s painted a very bright teal blue and hasn’t been maintained. It was once a really beautiful place!

This is Shiloh country school, which I attended , until May of 1960, then the school was closed and my sister and I were transferred to Catlin Grade school. I believe it sold at auction for about $2000, ending up as the home of Freeman Cord for his family. The building has recently totally collapsed. Mark Smith
