Spent 3 nights in the North Tower. Nice room, friendly staff. If you're going for the casino - it's quite a walk over to Fallsview. I booked through Expedia and got a better rate than booking directly with Hilton. When I checked in, they tried to charge me $100 more for each night. A manager was called and showed the desk clerk how to override their system - so I got the lower rate provided by Expedia.

(If you're not traveling far, I would suggest you pack your own toilet paper. I was shocked with what that Hilton provided - like cheap tissue paper).

My stay here was relatively good, but there were a few small things that we didn't love! First the room wasn't super clean (finger prints on the door window panel and when we used the jacuzzi tub dried roses came out of the spouts from someone who has used it in the past). The jacuzzi tub definitely needs updating, the button to turn off the tub sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. Our room was the dual family room, three adults staying in the room, it was quite nice on the 19th floor, large and with a great view of the falls!

We didn't get to use the pool as even till 10pm at night it was packed with families (we know it was family day weekend, but still). There were times to book for the pool but that wasn't really followed no one regulating this.

When we arrived to park, we were told we would have to pay to park offsite then we would be shuttled to the hotel as there were no spots left. We didn't love that, as it was so cold and said I am a Hilton honors member and we would pay for parking at the hotel or valet. The attendant argued with us, and eventually returned saying, she gave us a slip to their last parking spot. When we entered there were at least 5-6 spots we saw open.

The water pressure for the sink was quite aggressive, but overall the bathroom and jacuzzi were large and quite nice. Though when the shower was used, and water turned off, the shower head kept leaking. Beds were super comfy. The app was so amazing to use to scan to get into the room.

Overall, I'd stay there again, hoping those little things can be resolved in the future. I do love the Hilton, but this was not the best experience, I suppose it being family day long weekend played a role, as the lobby was packed (luckily I could skip the line with Hilton honours).

The hotel is average at best. While it does offer a fantastic view of the falls, the microwave situation is a complete miss. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The hotel has over 50 floors with multiple rooms and there was a ONE guest microwave for use. This really sucks for parent who have to heat things for babies and small kids. I also want to mention that it has not been cleaned since we've been here the last three days. It reeks of something really foul...fishy! I have a HH member, and this is very disappointing. My kid is a very selective eater, so I always have to bring his food...and this s a complete barrier to our needs.

The service is fantastic. The employees are super nice and very helpful. And the hotel has great dining, snack shops, and a very nice holiday place for the kiddos.

Also, many of the elevators are not operable.

I won't be back to this hotel.

Love this hotel! I absolutely recommend and would love to stay here again. Taxes and poor WiFi were the only things that could have been better.

Overall such a nice stay but it is a touristy hotel. There are three towers and each one is like its own enticement tied together with the main lobby and Check out the pics of our hotel and room! 49th Floor, North Tower, premium falls view. This hotel was a great choice and the views are amazing.

It is all about the views here! Nice price for the views, the comfy bed, and whirlpool it definitely adds to the vaca experience.

In summary, a must, and go for the whirlpool and rooms with a view. To clarify in the he large % of taxes it added almost $70-$83CAD a night. Also the taxes are on every meal and every purchase within the hotel. We were on vaca and had planned for it but it still really adds up.

Great views and location, friendly staff, reasonable rates.
We had difficulty with the A/C in our room and were moved to a MUCH BETTER room at no additional cost.

After doing my research of the various Hilton Hotels in the area, I decided to reserve a room at this hotel. I had reserved a standard room through the website.

When I arrived, there was a short line to check-in which was no big deal. Al had checked me in. He was very professional with a great personality. Due to my status, I was upgraded to a two bedroom suite. He proceeded to tell about the Daily Food & Beverage Credit and where the room is located which was in the North Tower.

I found the room, 4853, which was across from the elevators. Upon entering the room, there was a spacious bedroom. Across from the wetbar, was the good size bathroom. Then in the back of the suite, is another bedroom with a sofa and a work area. The room had an incredible view of the falls.

The hotel offers several restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops. There were plenty of seating areas in the lobby. The restaurant on the 33rd floor in the South Tower is where the breakfast is served. The food, service and the views were excellent.

Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Mixed feelings about my stay. On the good side: the location is pretty good, you can go up to the restaurant to get a very nice view of the falls (don't eat there...), and the hotel staff is very friendly. In terms of the room and furnishings quality, I would give it a mediocre rating. I was not impressed.

I have a separate review for Watermark Falls Dining (the restaurant with a view). I took one bite of my "complementary" breakfast, then had them clear it away and left. I did not eat there again during the days I was there. Instead I went to breakfast in the small town of Niagara on the Lake. Far better food.

Please note, if you are driving, their onsite parking fills up fast. I "reserved" parking in advance. Based on the how it was worded on my booking, I assumed it meant onsite. When I arrived, they said my car would be offsite "a block away". The overflow parking is NOT a block away, unless they are calculating as the crow flies. It is an open lot about two standard blocks away if you cut through someone else's parking lot. More like three standard blocks away walking distance on the sidewalk. During the day it is doable, but at night the area you travel through to get there is unlit. They do have a shuttle. To be honest, I would have stayed somewhere else if I had know that my car would be parked in an outdoor lot away from the hotel. In addition, I think the price for parking that far away was ridiculous.

So why make a big deal about the parking? The designated loading/unloading area is very congested most of the day. The parking areas are often filled with cars, vans and lots of buses (especially in the morning), so it is not easy to get a spot to load and unload your luggage. It was so bad the morning we were leaving, that we gave up on trying to get a spot and made two trips on the shuttle.

Overall, those with disabilities, children or seniors may want to look for more convenient accommodations.

Pro Tip: Checking Yelp for restaurant and eating options in Niagara on the Lake. The town is less than 30 minutes away. It is a very cute town full of boutique shops and eateries. Rather than eating in a single place, I suggest getting a bit here and a bit there. Taking the route that runs near the Niagara River is very pleasant.

If you stay here you pay a DMC non room fee , a hst non room fee, and 2 DMC included fee's per day for a total of $45 more per day on top of the normal taxes and fees you pay anyways. These fee's are a cash grab and I will never stay at this hotel chain ever again. Also, i was forced to park my car a block away from the hotel for $35 dollars a day as well.

I had a great stay here. Nice well cleaned room and great views. It had a mini Keurig with teas and coffee, sugars (even cream) and water for purchase which was very convenient, and a mini fridge which was very useful to store my leftovers. The shower was nice, but the wall paper was peeling from both sides of the wall and our jacuzzi was very big and great, it just needed more handles and grips so you don't slip and hurt yourself. Saw some cracks up on the very edge of the wall where the window was, could definitely have some repairs done. The Hilton Restaurant was okay, the service could've been better. We were greeted upon arrival. Waited 5 minutes for the server to come and take our order, we got a very sunny view by the very end of a table, and asked to switch the table which was no problem but boy did I get a tan. And I had asked to change my order within less than a minute upon ordering, scrambled eggs to egg whites. There seemed to be a huge confusion or communication error upon staff about my order. Waited another 15 minutes for the food to arrive and finally when it came, I was too hungry to even notice the food was cold (oh well it still tasted great). The server wasn't very attentive, I needed a few more napkins and a refill for my coffee, but she was no where to be found, or when I did she her she was busy attending other customers. On my coffee cup there was lipstick stain and I didn't complain to her, I just wiped it and drank from the other side of the cup, I didn't want to bother anyone anymore. So when it came to pay the bill she forgot to include the coupon voucher we had, even though we had mentioned it to her in the beginning, so she fixed it. So even despite all the bad service, we still tipped 25%, and when the server saw the bill, she rolled her eyes and said "pffft!". The audacity of her, I don't see what her problem was and found her to be very rude. She should not be working there, for other people's sake. Left me in a sour mood, and that's not how I wanted to start off my morning. The service could definitely be a lot better. It'll be a while before I come back here.

      Updated review

After 30 years as a Hilton Dimond Member I have decided to never stay at a Hilton Hotel again. I've stayed at 2000 Hilton properties and I think the Hilton Hotel brand has lost their since of direction.

This particular trip is a 16 night trip where I stayed at 11 different Hilton properties and out of all the different brands I literally had a problem at all three Hilton Hotels. The other Hilton brands were great but again Hilton in my opinion the Hilton brand has lost their way.

This particular hotel has great views and nice restaurants. I'm nit a fan of the rooms and I'm nit a fan of how they nickel and dime you to death.

My room was $900 a night and it absolutely was the worst room I've had in a kind time. The parking is absolutely legalized and extortion.

This stop was the highlight of our trip and this was the worst stop of all.

Because of my experience at this particular Hilton property and after comparing the different brands I will again never stay at a Hilton Hotel ever again the rest of my life!
