- AerowingMonee, IL5,039 contributionsThis is a great place to check out some historic mining in the area. It’s free to enter which is nice.
There’s a gravel road that goes up about a half a mile to the parking lot and there’s an office trailer there with a small gift shop inside and very friendly volunteers working there.
You could see some huge earthmovers as well as other pieces of mining equipment.

There is a plaque on the outside of the house, and a street sign that says Bob Dylan Way but the town has nothing else to celebrate its most famous resident. The interior cannot be accessed.
