- Hesher
So, Joseph Gordon-Levitt taking his elderly friend for a walk around the block in a coffin, having just porked THE Portman with support from his one good nut... with a Metallica soundtrack.

heavy metal joseph gordon-levitt wreaking havoc is something i didn’t know i needed and i’m glad it exists
Hesher is an instant favorite. Is it ridiculous? Yes. Unrealistic? Totally. Immature? You betcha. Over the top? Definitely. Do I love it though? Hell yeah. It’s one of the most quotable films that I’ve seen in a long time and probably Joseph Gordon Levitt’s best performance outside of Mysterious Skin. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that most people have skipped over this one, but take it from me - if you have a good sense of humor and enjoy darker comedies with an underlying humanist theme, Hesher is well worth checking out. Just be careful how much you eat or drink during the film because it’s very likely that you’ll spit it all over the place while you laugh uncontrollably. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
i'm pretty sure the first half of this is a y/n fanfiction.
✨ one day, a long haired metalhead version of joseph gordon levitt knocks at your door and comes in with no explanation. "where's the laundry room, y/n?" he asks, then proceeds to walk around your house. in the laundry room, he strips down to his pants and lightens a cigarette. "what are you doing?" you ask, with visible confusion. he then suddenly grabs you by your neck. "shut up, or i'll kill you and your family" he threatens. you feel his breath---- ✨
okay that's enough i'm so sorry i've read too many bts fanfics as a 12 year old but i swear this is an accurate description of one of the scenes, just in different context
