What travellers are saying
- Deborah D7 contributionsJust amazing and so enjoyable! Mark who showed us around the sight was very pleasant and so informative, with a great sense of humour. The tasting was fun and at the same time it was educational. The variety was brilliantWritten 11 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - andy sReading, UK18 contributionsCannot recommend this enough the whole experience front start to finish was great.
We got to taste the different Gin's Henley Distillery make, learned about the history of Gin, how Henley distillery make their different Gin's and the other things they do. The best bit is when you actually get to make and flavor your own Gin ! which you get a full size bottle of to take home with you. Great fun a great team and a great experience !Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Really loved the grounds & felt like I learnt an awful lot in a short amount of time! Having no previous knowledge about the grounds or William Morris I left feeling I knew more about the man behind the business.
I may be a slightly bias as our guide was is my Grandfather is a volunteer, But the passion & knowledge from the National Trust is clearly apparent.Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adventurers049Brisbane, Australia3,379 contributionsThe rowing section of the museum is located on the first floor and is very interesting.
The highlight however is The Wind in the Willows exhibition.

Always fascinating for a variety of birds (gulls, ducks, swans, geese, cormorants to name but a few) plus the different boats and houses along the river.Written 3 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julian319Orkney32 contributionsWhat a wonderful Wildlife Trust nature reserve, hidden away at the end of a long, long Chilterns Lane. Superb walk, full of woodland and grassland wildlife even in the depths of winter. Marsh Tits, Raven, Buzzard, the many Red Kites of course, Spurge Laurel, Velvet Shank fungi, brilliant displays of mosses and lots of signs of good manangement amongst the many highlights. I'd love to go back in spring or summer.Written 27 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Piers FSlough, UK43 contributionsI rode my bike there for the snowdrop festival. Really worth it. It is a beautiful spot and timeless church. Cake and drinks served during the festival. - chrissiepeMaidstone, UK25 contributionsUnusual art but beautiful with beautiful price tags! They had really unusual metal sculptures, I can't remember the artist at a really good price. There were several pictures by an artist that uses real people positioned to look like famous people.
