Mom & Don Northwoods Farm Cancer Crisis

My name is Heidi and I’m reaching out for assistance for my 81 year old mother Mary Jo and her husband Don Walker. Don was recently diagnosed with cancer of his esophagus. This is devastating as Don is 61 and caretaker of my Mom and their horse farm. Treatment - chemo and radiation- commences soon and Don will not be able to work nor tend the farm. The Arabian horses have been re-homed and efforts to place other farm animals are underway. My mom has been crippled for decades from a serious car accident followed by a fall and lives as a shut in rather than give up her farm land and peaceful woods. She relies on Don for care and to cut the wood and refill the wood/burning furnace much of the year in the frigid North Woods of Wisconsin. I hear you... we ALL have a lot of our own issues going on, so any gesture to help Don & Mary is welcomed and greatly appreciated.
