The only Heather Paul McCartney probably wants in his life is his adoptive daughter Heather. Not his second (ex)wife Heather Mills, who brought a whole mess of complications and drama.

But then again he did get another daughter out of the marriage that turned out to be the bain of his existence.

Since McCartney divorced Mills in 2008, his net worth has skyrocketed to $1 billion. But if some fans think the musician is cheap, he still paid Mills pretty generously in their divorce settlement, and practically gave her everything she wanted while they were married.

But the question is; what has Mills been doing since splitting from the ex-Beatle?

Their Divorce Was Messy

Some fans think that McCartney rushed into marriage too soon after his first wife, Linda, died in 1998. His need for a companion overrode his better judgment, and soon he was making mistakes left and right.

His biggest mistake was not signing any kind of prenup agreement, which would later cause legal battles in court during their divorce.

During their marriage, things got hairy between Mills and McCartney's second daughter, Stella, who is a famous fashion designer. Apparently, Stella wouldn't give Mills a high enough discount on her clothing line, and Mills said some pretty outrageous things about her.

"Every week [Stella] tried to break up our marriage," Mills said. "She was so jealous. She wasn’t interested in her dad’s happiness. I can’t protect her any longer. She’s done some evil, evil things."

McCartney also granted her a $557,000 allowance and tons of other financial help. But in the end, she threw it all back in his face when they decided to split and she went to the courts to get him to pay her an enormous amount of money.

Unfortunately for Mills, the $250 million she requested was not granted. Instead, she got $48.6 million in the divorce settlement. The judge himself thought her evidence was untruthful and her calls for the enormous amount of money "unreasonable, indeed exorbitant."

McCartney also has to pay $70,000 a year for child support plus tuition fees for their daughter Beatrice, and on top of that, Mills got two houses out of the deal too. At the time, their divorce settlements were the most expensive ever seen.

Mills reportedly spent all of the settlement within 22 months, claiming that most of it went to charity, but as of 2008 the charities that she said she'd donate to never got any money.

"Most of it’s been given to charity, gone into ethical businesses or paid for a couple of -properties for my daughter’s future security," she said. "I could never sit with millions of pounds in the bank that could make matters change."

Mills is known to have told many lies in and out of her marriage to McCartney. Even Mills' ex-husband, Alfie Karmal, said that she was a very good liar.

According to CBS News, in 2011, Mills publicist filed a lawsuit against her stating that she lied about the abuse she said she endured from McCartney. He also said she lied about McCartney being a wife-beater and a drunk and had still owed his company money.

That same year Mills filed a case against News of the World 0r News Group Newspapers and claimed they were hacking her phone to get information on her. Mills was finally given a "substantial payout," and an apology from NGN in 2019.

Her Business Ventures Have Had Their Ups And Downs

In 2009, Mills opened her first vegan restaurant called VBites. At the time she gave an interview saying that she wanted to one day open a whole chain of restaurants. After selling the first location and opening a second the business was closed in 2017.

The same year she opened VBites, Mills also bought the vegan food company Redwood Foods which has all different kinds of brands. One of the brands, Wot No Diary, however, had to be recalled in 2014 because it tested positive for dairy products. At the time there was an investigation as to how diary got into the company's products.

This didn't stop Mills from developing her vegan business into what is called the "Silicon Valley of vegan food production." She has two vegan food production plants that were previously factories for Walkers Crisps and Coty/P&G, and now she has a third plant.

Mills has had setbacks like all businesses but it seems like her company is doing really great things now. She also owns a cruelty-free makeup line Be At One.

She's Filled Her Busy Schedule With Sports... Sort Of

Mills appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2007, and in 2009 she appeared on the U.K.'s Dancing on Ice and made it to week five.

In 2010, Mills announced that she wanted to get on the British Paralympic team for the 2014 Winter Games. Before the Games, though, the British Paralympic Association said that Mills was not going to be apart of the team because of an issue with the adaptive boot she used while skiing. She lost her leg in a crash in 1993.

During a meeting about her illegitimate gear, Mills grabbed an official from the International Paralympic Committee, skiing chief Sylvana Mestre, and had to be restrained. Mills released a statement that refuted these claims, however.

On top of all this, Mills starting dating film producer, Mike Dickman, in 2019 after she stuck a business card in his pocket that said, "I think you’re hot. Email me."

Mills is without a doubt an interesting person to follow because you never know what she'll do next. Beatles fans especially like to keep an eye on her because they don't trust her as far as they can throw her. Mills has proven that she has nine lives, and will always come back fighting though. Just don't mention Macca to her and you'll be alright.
