While initially at first I noticed a drastic change of lowering the amount of flakes, I did not see change after about two weeks of use. It felt like I was just maintaining my hair at a certain level and not actually treating the area over time. It does have a good smell and does feel soothing. I just felt as if it plateaued at a certain point. Still better then some other alternative brands I have tried before.

This shampoo has been an absolute godsend. I've experienced severely, chronically itchy scalp since moving to a hot and humid climate (I have long, thick hair), which was usually triggered by sweating (even if I'd just washed my hair, going outside for 1 minute to get the mail in the summer would trigger it). I had little to no flaking, but the itching was driving me insane and causing me to scratch until I was bleeding! I had purchased expensive showerhead filters to remove chlorine, bought pricy hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, and took allergy medications, with no relief. I was looking up itchy scalp remedies one night, and this shampoo popped up. I bought it out of desperation even though I didn't have significant dandruff, just itchiness. After a single use of this shampoo, my itching was 100% gone, and doesn't come back between shampoos (2-3x per week). Though I had very little flaking before using it, I have absolutely none now. When using it in the shower, it has a soothing, cooling effect on the scalp, like cool water. It feels so nice that I usually leave it in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. It lathers really well, so not much is needed. I follow it with my regular salon conditioner, and my actually hair feels even softer than before I started using this shampoo. I absolutely recommend this if you have a very itchy scalp!

This works very well with regular use to resolve dandruff. I have found it works much better than I had expected. This shampoo 2in1 has instantly helped relieve the itching. In time the flaking has decreased. This shampoo really stings if in the eyes much worse than an average shampoo in my opinion so be careful. For that reason I would not recommend for children. I have very long thick dry hair with dandruff. The olny benefit I'm getting is the relief from dandruff. I find it difficult to rinse out completely. This is excellent for the dry scalp however the length of my hair remains dry if not worse. The 2in1 while is convenient does not seem to be conditioning at all no moisturizing effects no softness and no detangling. I use this for several uses in a row to relieve my itch then switch back to my regular product. I am considering trying Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner separately to see that helps to solve the issues.
