Parking at any large airport is usually confusing. Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran Airport) in Las Vegas is no different. We hope this information helps.
Harry Reid Int’l Airport Cell Phone Lot is a free temporary waiting area near Passenger Pick-up Curbs at Terminals 1 and 3. Park for free while waiting for passengers. No restrooms available. Call (702) 261-5122 for queries.
The Regional Transit Authority provides free park-and-ride service to Reid Airport. The parking lot is at Sunset and Gilespie, near the rental car center. Passengers can park their vehicles for up to seven days. The bus ride to and from the airport costs $4 per trip. The parking lot has only about 100 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s recommended to arrive early and have a backup plan in case the lot is full.
Know Before You Go:

Short-term parking is intended for stays of three hours or less and is conveniently located just outside Terminal 1 in the covered parking garage on Level 2M.

To avoid the minimum parking charge, do not use the walk-up pay station. Go directly to the exit lane and insert your ticket to exit. If you have license plates issued by the State of Nevada with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” stamped on them, you are entitled to free parking for up to 4 hours in short-term parking. Use a cashiered lane to exit, or if one is not available, use a phone at the exit gate.
Long-term parking is available in the garage next to terminal 1 on Levels 1M-6. The height clearance is 8′ 2″. Each level is named after a famous Las Vegas resort. If you’re in a hurry or enjoy the convenience of simply dropping off your vehicle, Valet parking is the choice for you. Valet parking is conveniently located in the garage immediately adjacent to Terminal 1 on Level 2. Height Clearance: 7′
It is preferred that customers with the State of Nevada “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” issued plates who intend to receive free parking do not utilize the Valet Parking area.
Fees are paid at the tollbooth or an Express Exit pay station. Cash or credit cards are accepted.

A free courtesy shuttle service operates 24 hours a day between Terminal 1 Economy Parking and Terminal 1, with an approximate frequency of every 10-15 minutes. The shuttle bus stop at Terminal 1 is situated on Level Zero of the parking garage. If you are planning to use Terminal 1 Economy Parking, please allow an additional 30 minutes for your travel plans.

Remember to use parking reminder cards and park on the east side of the garage for international flights and on the west for domestic carriers. The height clearance is 8′ 2″.

If you are in a rush or prefer the ease of dropping off your vehicle, Valet parking is the perfect option for you. It is conveniently situated in the garage that is located right next to Terminal 3 on Level V. The height clearance for the garage is 9′ 4″.
You can pay extra to have your car washed and detailed. ABM Aviation Inc. operates the Valet Parking service. You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card to pay for Valet Parking.
It is preferred that customers with the State of Nevada “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” issued plates who intend to receive free parking do not use the Valet Parking area.
Economy parking is conveniently located adjacent to the Terminal 3 parking garage. It is an excellent choice if you want to park close to the terminal building within walking distance of Ticketing/Check-In but prefer to pay a more economical price.

To avoid the $4.00 minimum parking charge when driving through, drivers must NOT use the walk-up pay station and should instead go directly to the exit lane and insert their ticket to exit.
Shuttle service is available between Economy Parking and Terminal 3 every 10-15 minutes. The bus stop is located at the center of the curb on Level Zero. Note: Add 30 minutes to your travel plans when using Economy Parking.
Remote/Oversized Vehicle parking is on Gilespie Road, across from Harry Reid International Airport Rent-A-Car Center. Vehicles over 22 ft. long, 8 ½ ft. wide, or 13 ½ ft. high must use Oversize/Remote Lot. Call for shuttle to Terminal 1/3—Max 30-day parking limit. Contact Airport Parking at (702) 261-5122 to park >30 days.
Nevada customers with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” license plates are entitled to 4 hours free parking. Use cashiered lane on exit or phone at gate if no cashiered lane available. Credit cards only.
Here are the parking lots where you can park your motorcycle at Harry Reid International Airport.
Motorcycles cannot enter the short-term parking area through the gated entry lanes. They must use the access point on the left before the gated entry lanes to reach the designated motorcycle parking area located on Level 1M. The maximum limit for parking in this area is 3 hours, and there is no charge.
Do not use the gated entry lane for long-term parking due to safety reasons. Instead, use the access point located right of the Ticket Issuing Machines on Level 1M. No need to pull a ticket. Park in the designated Motorcycle area on Level 1M. When exiting, go to a cashiered booth to pay parking fees and avoid any damage or injury caused by premature gate arm closing.
For safety reasons, motorcycles cannot enter the short-term parking area through the gated entry lane. Instead, please use the designated motorcycle parking area on Level 2 of the Long Term parking section. Access the area by using the access point to the right of the Ticket Issuing Machines without pulling a ticket. When leaving, pay the parking fees at a cashiered booth and be careful to avoid the gate arm coming down prematurely.
Do not enter long-term parking through gated entry lanes. Instead, access Level 2 from the right of the ticket-issuing machines—Park in a designated motorcycle area. Use a cashiered booth to pay parking fees and avoid premature gate arm closure.
Bicycle parking is available at both terminals. Terminal 1 bike rack is on Level Zero of the parking garage, next to the elevators. Terminal 3 has two bike racks on Level Zero of the parking garage, one next to the east elevator lobby and the other next to the west elevator lobby.
Make sure to have the following information before heading to the airport to pick up your group:
Passenger Pick-up for Terminal 1 is on Level 1 of the parking garage, across the pedestrian bridge from baggage claim. Unattended vehicles will be towed or cited. Short-term parking is available for 15 minutes with no charge. Insert your ticket at an exit gate to avoid charges.
Passenger pick-up is on Level 1 of the Terminal 3 parking garage, for immediate loading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed. Short-term parking is available; the first 15 minutes are free. To avoid charges, insert your ticket at an exit gate, not a walk-up pay station while driving through.
Departure Curb
The Departure Curb is located on Level 2 adjacent to Ticketing/Check-In and is available for passenger drop-off. Please be advised that the Department Curb is designated for immediate unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.
Curbside Check-In
Skycap and curbside check-in services are available for most airlines operating at Harry Reid International Airport. Contact your airline in advance to determine whether they are currently providing this service. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.
Departure Curb
The Departure Curb is located on Level 1 adjacent to Ticketing/Check-In and is available for passenger drop-off. Please be advised that the Department Curb is designated for immediate unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.

Here’s how to pay for airport parking quickly:
1. Take an Express Exit ticket when you enter the parking facility.
2. Look for a light yellow Express Exit Pay Station to pay for parking.
3. Insert your ticket, follow the prompts, and pay by cash or card.
4. Keep your ticket with you to exit the parking lot quickly.
5. Take your ticket and receipt from the pay station.
6. Proceed to any Express Exit Lane, insert your ticket, and you’re good to go!
In case you forget to use the Express Exit Pay Station, you can still pay with a credit card at the parking lot exit using a designated Express Exit lane.
