Harry Reid International Airport Parking Information

Parking at any large airport is usually confusing. Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran Airport) in Las Vegas is no different. We hope this information helps.

Free Airport Parking

Cell Phone Short-Term Waiting Area – open 6:00 am to 1:00 am daily.

Harry Reid Int’l Airport Cell Phone Lot is a free temporary waiting area near Passenger Pick-up Curbs at Terminals 1 and 3. Park for free while waiting for passengers. No restrooms available. Call (702) 261-5122 for queries.

Driving Directions to the Cell Phone Lot

From Russell Rd

Here are the directions to reach Terminal 1:
Take Russell Road west
Turn left onto Paradise Road
Follow the signs to Terminal 1
Merge right and follow the signs marked “Terminal 1, Departing Flights, Cell Phone Lot”
Reach the Cell Phone Lot entrance.

From Paradise

Drive south on Paradise Road and get in the 2nd lane from the left.
Follow the signs to the T1 Economy Lot and Cell Phone Lot.
Keep to the left when the lanes split.
At the light at Kitty Hawk Way, turn right.
Drive ahead to the four-way stop and then turn right.
The entrance to the Cell Phone Lot will be to the immediate left.

From I-215

Exit I-215 and follow signs to airport.
Proceed through northbound tunnel.
Follow overhead signs to Terminal 1 and then signs marked “Departing Flights, Economy Parking, Terminal 3.“
Get in right lane and follow sign marked “Terminal 1, Cell Phone Lot,“ and proceed to four-way stop.
Carefully merge right, following sign to Cell Phone Lot, and proceed to four-way stop sign.
Drive through the four-way stop, and the entrance to the Cell Phone Lot will be on the left.

Park and Ride Lot

The Regional Transit Authority provides free park-and-ride service to Reid Airport. The parking lot is at Sunset and Gilespie, near the rental car center. Passengers can park their vehicles for up to seven days. The bus ride to and from the airport costs $4 per trip. The parking lot has only about 100 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s recommended to arrive early and have a backup plan in case the lot is full.

Terminal 1 - Short-term Parking

Know Before You Go:

Make sure you know which terminal your airline uses before coming to the airport, then follow the overhead signs to get to our final parking destination. To speak to a representative or for up-to-the-minute parking information, call (702) 261-5122.

Short-term parking is intended for stays of three hours or less and is conveniently located just outside Terminal 1 in the covered parking garage on Level 2M.

Height Clearance: 7′ 0″.

Short-Term Parking Rates:

0 – 60 minutes: $3.00
1 hour – 2 hours: $6.00
2 hours – 3 hours: $9.00
Additional hours: $4.00
Daily maximum: $36.00

Fees are paid at the tollbooth or an Express Exit pay station. Cash or credit cards are accepted.

To avoid the minimum parking charge, do not use the walk-up pay station. Go directly to the exit lane and insert your ticket to exit. If you have license plates issued by the State of Nevada with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” stamped on them, you are entitled to free parking for up to 4 hours in short-term parking. Use a cashiered lane to exit, or if one is not available, use a phone at the exit gate.

Driving Directions to Short-term Term Parking at Terminal 1

From Russell Road

Drive west on Russell Road.
Turn left onto Paradise Road and get in the far right lane.
Stay in the right lane, go over the bridge, and continue following signs for all terminals/parking.
Remain in the left lane and follow the roadway curve to the left.
Proceed up the ramp and take the second left into Short-Term Parking.

From Paradise Road

Drive south on Paradise Road and access the second lane from the right.
Follow the signs for Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-Up, and Parking.
Continue straight and follow the overhead signs toward Short Term.
Proceed up the ramp and take the second left into Short-Term Parking.

From I-215

Exit I-215 following the signs for Harry Reid International Airport.
Proceed through the northbound tunnel and access the left lane.
Remain in the left lane and follow the signs for Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-up, and Parking.
After the road curves around, merge to the right lane.
Continue following the overhead signs to Short Term.
Proceed up the ramp and take the second left into Short-Term Parking.

Terminal 1 - Long Term Parking

Long-term parking is available in the garage next to terminal 1 on Levels 1M-6. The height clearance is 8′ 2″. Each level is named after a famous Las Vegas resort. Use the Parking Reminder Cards near the elevators to remember your spot. The maximum parking time is 30 days. For longer stays, contact Airport Parking at (702) 261-5122.

Driving Directions to Long-Term Parking at Terminal 1

From Russell Road

Here are the steps to follow:

Drive west on Russell Road.
Turn left onto Paradise Road and get in the far right lane, following the sign for All Terminals, Parking.
Staying to the right and going under the bridge, continue to follow the signs for Terminal 1.
Before the road curves to the left, carefully merge to the right lane and follow the overhead signs to Long Term Parking.
At the top of the ramp, take a validated ticket and proceed to the Long Term Parking levels.

From Paradise Road

Drive south on Paradise Road and access the second lane from the right.
Follow the signs for Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-Up, and Parking.
Continue straight and follow the overhead signs toward Long Term Parking.
At the top of the ramp, take a validated ticket and proceed to the Long Term Parking level.

From I-215

Exit I-215 following he signs for Harry Reid International Airport. Proceed through the northbound tunnel and access the left lane.

Terminal 1 - Valet

If you’re in a hurry or enjoy the convenience of simply dropping off your vehicle, Valet parking is the choice for you. Valet parking is conveniently located in the garage immediately adjacent to Terminal 1 on Level 2. Height Clearance: 7′

From Russell Road

Drive west on Russell Road. Turn left onto Paradise Road and stay in the far right lane.
Stay in the right lane and go under the bridge. Continue to follow the signs for All Terminals/Parking.

Remain in the left lane and follow the signs for Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-up, and Parking.
After the road curves around, merge to the right lane.
Continue following the overhead signs to Valet Parking.
Proceed up the ramp and turn left into Valet.

It is preferred that customers with the State of Nevada “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” issued plates who intend to receive free parking do not utilize the Valet Parking area.

Terminal 1 - Economy Parking

Terminal 1 Economy Parking Shuttle

A free courtesy shuttle service operates 24 hours a day between Terminal 1 Economy Parking and Terminal 1, with an approximate frequency of every 10-15 minutes. The shuttle bus stop at Terminal 1 is situated on Level Zero of the parking garage. If you are planning to use Terminal 1 Economy Parking, please allow an additional 30 minutes for your travel plans.

Driving Directions to Economy Parking at Terminal 1

From Russell Road

Drive west on Russell Road.
Turn left onto Paradise Road and get in the far right lane.
Stay in the right lane and go under the bridge. Continue to follow the signs for All Terminals/Parking.
Remain in the left lane, following the road around to Terminal 1, Parking.
Stay to the left and follow the signs for Zero Level.
Merge all the way to the left lane and enter the lot on the left.

From Paradise Road

Drive south on Paradise Road and access the second lane from the right.
Follow the signs for the T1 Parking Garage.
As the road ascends, merge to the left, following the overhead signs to Zero Level.
Enter the lot on the left.

From I-215

Exit I-215 following the overhead signs for Harry Reid International Airport.
Proceed through the northbound tunnel and access the left lane.
Remain in the left lane and follow the signs for Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-up/Parking.
After the road curves around, merge immediately to the far left lane to access Zero LevelLevel.
Merge to the far left again and enter the lot on the left.

Terminal 3 - Short Term Parking

Before heading to the airport, make sure you know which terminal your airline uses. You can call (702) 261-5122 for up-to-date parking information. Short-term parking is available for stays of up to three hours, located just outside Terminal 3 in the covered parking garage on Level 1. International travelers and those picking up passengers on international flights should park on the east side of the garage, while domestic travelers should park on the west side designated by the “diamond” symbol.

Pay toll fees at the tollbooth or Express Exit pay station using cash or credit cards. Do not use the walk-up pay station to avoid minimum parking charges. For customers with Nevada license plates marked with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW”, short-term parking is free for up to 4 hours. Use a cashiered lane when exiting. If no cashiered lane is available, use a phone at the exit gate.

Stay on Landing Strip Avenue, following the signs for Terminal 3, Parking.
Continue around the loop, following the signs for passenger pick-up to Short-Term Parking.

From Paradise Road

Drive south on Paradise Road and access the left lanes.
Follow the overhead signs for Terminal 3.
Proceed past Russell Road, access the right lane, and follow the overhead signs for all terminals.
At the split, turn left toward Flight Path Ave.
Follow the overhead signs to Passenger Pick-Up and Parking.
Access the center lane and continue following the signs for short-term parking.

From I-215

Exit I-215 following the signs for Harry Reid International Airport.
Proceed through the northbound tunnel and access the center lane.
Merge to the right lane and follow the overhead signs for Terminal 3, Passenger Pick-Up, and Parking.
Merge to the center lane and continue to follow the overhead signs for Passeng r Pick Up Short Term Parking.

Terminal 3 - Long Term Parking

Long-term parking is available in the garage next to Terminal 3 on Levels 2 to 6 for stays of three hours or more. The maximum stay period is 30 days. If you need to park for more than 30 days, call (702) 261-5122.

Remember to use parking reminder cards and park on the east side of the garage for international flights and on the west for domestic carriers. The height clearance is 8′ 2″.

Up to 3 hours: $10.00
Additional hours: $2.00

Pay your toll fees at the tollbooth or Express Exit pay station with cash or credit cards. Avoid minimum parking charge by using the exit lane instead of walk-up pay station.

If you have Nevada license plates with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW”, you’re entitled to free parking for up to 4 hours in short-term parking. Use phone at exit gate or cashiered lane to exit if no cashiered lane is available.

Terminal 3 - Valet Parking

If you are in a rush or prefer the ease of dropping off your vehicle, Valet parking is the perfect option for you. It is conveniently situated in the garage that is located right next to Terminal 3 on Level V. The height clearance for the garage is 9′ 4″.

You can pay extra to have your car washed and detailed. ABM Aviation Inc. operates the Valet Parking service. You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card to pay for Valet Parking.

Terminal 3 - Economy Parking

Economy parking is conveniently located adjacent to the Terminal 3 parking garage. It is an excellent choice if you want to park close to the terminal building within walking distance of Ticketing/Check-In but prefer to pay a more economical price.

To avoid the $4.00 minimum parking charge when driving through, drivers must NOT use the walk-up pay station and should instead go directly to the exit lane and insert their ticket to exit.

Economy Parking Shuttle

Shuttle service is available between Economy Parking and Terminal 3 every 10-15 minutes. The bus stop is located at the center of the curb on Level Zero. Note: Add 30 minutes to your travel plans when using Economy Parking.

Turn south onto Landing Strip Avenue, located between Eastern Avenue and Spencer Street.
Stay on Landing Strip Avenue, following the overhead signs marked “Terminal 3, Parking.”
Follow the overhead signs marked “Economy Parking, Oversize Vehicles.”

From Paradise Road

Drive south on Paradise Road and get in the second lane from the left.
Follow the overhead signs to Terminal 3.
Turn left toward Flight Path Avenue at the split.
Follow the overhead signs marked “Passenger Pick-Up, Parking” and then the signs marked “Economy Parking, Oversize Vehicles.”

From I-215

Exit I-215 following the signs to Harry Reid International Airport.
Get in the center lane and proceed through the northbound tunnel.
Follow the overhead signs to Terminal 3.
Continue to follow the overhead signs marked “Terminal 3, Passenger Pick-Up, Parking.”
Merge to the left and follow the overhead signs marked “Economy Parking, Oversize Vehicles.”

Remote/Oversized Vehicle Parking

Remote/Oversized Vehicle parking is on Gilespie Road, across from Harry Reid International Airport Rent-A-Car Center. Vehicles over 22 ft. long, 8 ½ ft. wide, or 13 ½ ft. high must use Oversize/Remote Lot. Call for shuttle to Terminal 1/3—Max 30-day parking limit. Contact Airport Parking at (702) 261-5122 to park >30 days.

Nevada customers with “Disabled Veteran” or “EXPOW” license plates are entitled to 4 hours free parking. Use cashiered lane on exit or phone at gate if no cashiered lane available. Credit cards only.

Driving Directions to Remote/Oversize Vehicle Parking

From Russell Rd:

Drive west on Russell Road.
Turn left onto Paradise Road and stay in the left lane, following the signs for I-215 West.
Proceed through the tunnel, accessing the right lane.
Exit Hidden Wells Road, Gillespie, Rental Returns.
Turn left on Gillespie, cross over the freeway, and turn left into the Remote Parking entrance.

From Paradise:

Drive south on Paradise Road and access the left two lanes.
Follow the overhead signs towards I-215 West.
Proceed through the tunnel following, accessing the right lane.
Exit Hidden Wells Road, Gilespie, Rental Car Return.
Turn left on Gillespie, cross over the freeway, and turn left into the Remote Parking entrance.

From I-215 Eastbound:

Take I-215 to exit 12-A for Las Vegas Blvd, following signs for Rental Car Return.
Continue through Las Vegas Blvd to Gilespie Road.
Turn right on Gilespie, merge to the left lane, and access the Remote Parking on the left.

From I-215 Westbound:

Take I-215 to exit 9 for Warm Springs Road, following signs for Rental Car Return.
Turn left on Warm Springs Road.
Take Warm Springs Road to Gilespie Road and turn right, staying in the right lane.
Access the Remote Parking on the right.

Motorcycle Parking

Here are the parking lots where you can park your motorcycle at Harry Reid International Airport.

Terminal 1 - Short Term Parking

Motorcycles cannot enter the short-term parking area through the gated entry lanes. They must use the access point on the left before the gated entry lanes to reach the designated motorcycle parking area located on Level 1M. The maximum limit for parking in this area is 3 hours, and there is no charge.

Terminal 1 - Long Term Parking

Do not use the gated entry lane for long-term parking due to safety reasons. Instead, use the access point located right of the Ticket Issuing Machines on Level 1M. No need to pull a ticket. Park in the designated Motorcycle area on Level 1M. When exiting, go to a cashiered booth to pay parking fees and avoid any damage or injury caused by premature gate arm closing.

Terminal 3 - Short Term Parking

For safety reasons, motorcycles cannot enter the short-term parking area through the gated entry lane. Instead, please use the designated motorcycle parking area on Level 2 of the Long Term parking section. Access the area by using the access point to the right of the Ticket Issuing Machines without pulling a ticket. When leaving, pay the parking fees at a cashiered booth and be careful to avoid the gate arm coming down prematurely.

Terminal 3 - Long Term Parking

Do not enter long-term parking through gated entry lanes. Instead, access Level 2 from the right of the ticket-issuing machines—Park in a designated motorcycle area. Use a cashiered booth to pay parking fees and avoid premature gate arm closure.

Bicycle Parking

Bicycle parking is available at both terminals. Terminal 1 bike rack is on Level Zero of the parking garage, next to the elevators. Terminal 3 has two bike racks on Level Zero of the parking garage, one next to the east elevator lobby and the other next to the west elevator lobby.

Terminal 1

Passenger Pick-up for Terminal 1 is on Level 1 of the parking garage, across the pedestrian bridge from baggage claim. Unattended vehicles will be towed or cited. Short-term parking is available for 15 minutes with no charge. Insert your ticket at an exit gate to avoid charges.

Terminal 3

Passenger pick-up is on Level 1 of the Terminal 3 parking garage, for immediate loading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed. Short-term parking is available; the first 15 minutes are free. To avoid charges, insert your ticket at an exit gate, not a walk-up pay station while driving through.

Departure Curb

The Departure Curb is located on Level 2 adjacent to Ticketing/Check-In and is available for passenger drop-off. Please be advised that the Department Curb is designated for immediate unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.

Curbside Check-In

Skycap and curbside check-in services are available for most airlines operating at Harry Reid International Airport. Contact your airline in advance to determine whether they are currently providing this service. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.

Terminal 3

Departure Curb

The Departure Curb is located on Level 1 adjacent to Ticketing/Check-In and is available for passenger drop-off. Please be advised that the Department Curb is designated for immediate unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited or towed.

Express Exit

Here’s how to pay for airport parking quickly:

1. Take an Express Exit ticket when you enter the parking facility.

2. Look for a light yellow Express Exit Pay Station to pay for parking.

3. Insert your ticket, follow the prompts, and pay by cash or card.

4. Keep your ticket with you to exit the parking lot quickly.

5. Take your ticket and receipt from the pay station.

6. Proceed to any Express Exit Lane, insert your ticket, and you’re good to go!

In case you forget to use the Express Exit Pay Station, you can still pay with a credit card at the parking lot exit using a designated Express Exit lane.
