I love The NY Times Crossword Puzzle Dictionary, but, it isn't really a dictionary. It's a thesaurus which is what I wanted anyway. This is the second time I bought this book. The first book came apart with use. I'm afraid this one will, too, since it has so many pages and the spine isn't strong enough to hold them together. But, it is the best thesaurus you can find. Just handle it gently when thumbing through pages.

I ordered this item because we had worn out our old one which was many years old. However, I was expecting one the same size so was disappointed to get one less than half the size (L X W). It may well have all the same information but is much more awkward to handle and will most certainly wear out much faster. I expect to be looking for a replacement before that happens.

I am not as happy with this crossword dictionary as the one I already have that is falling apart. It does not have categories such as the greek gods, elements, animals, presidents!, etc. That part of the dictionary I already had was very helpful. I can't seem to find as many words in this one as the one I had. I thought it would be much better especially with it being from the New York Times. I have never complained about anything else I have ordered with you. I have been very happy with everything else purchased.
