In Vietnamese: Bằng khen của Giám đốc Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội về Thành tích xuất sắc trong nghiên cứu khoa học và công nghệ năm 2015.

This prestigious certificate of merit has been awarded to Associate Professor Xuan-Tu Tran for Excellent Scientific Contributions in 2015.

6) Second Prize (the 2nd best) of Vietnamese Talents Award 2015 (Giải Nhì, Giải thưởng Nhân tài Đất Việt 2015)

Outstanding inventions in Information Technology, Health, Sciences and Technologies and the Environment have been honoured at the Vietnamese Talents Awards 2015 which was held on November 20 evening in Hanoi. 

The ceremony was attended by chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, Vice PM Vu Duc Dam and ministers of Health, Information and Communications, Sciences and Technology, and Education and Training.

The Second Prize awarded to our VENGME H.264/AVC encoding chip.

5) Prestigious Certificate of Merit from the Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) for scientific contributions during the period 2004-2014 (October 2014).

In Vietnamese: Bằng khen của Bộ trưởng Bộ Khoa học Công nghệ về những đóng góp và thành tích đạt được trong giai đoạn 2004-2014. 

This prestigious certificate of merit has been awarded to Associate Professor Xuan-Tu Tran for scientific contributions & achievements during 2004-2014 period. 

4) Outstanding Student Paper Award & Student Travel Grant Award at IEEE APCCAS 2014

3) Prestigious Certificate of Merit from VNU for scientific achievements related to CoMoSy project (October 2013)

Xuan-Tu Tran and his research group has received a "Prestigious Certificate of Merit" from VNU for their Excellent Scientific Achiements of the CoMoSy platform product (a FPGA-based System-on-Chip platform for monitoring & controlling applications).

1) Student Best Paper Award at the ATC 2012

The award is for the following paper. This work is supported by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) throught the research project QGDA.10.02 entitled "Investigation, Design, and Implementation of a Video Encoder for Next Generation Multimedia Equipment (VENGME)" and in the collaboration with CEA-LETI, Minatec Campus, France.
