Wife, daughter and I stayed for one night to go to casino which is conveniently a short walking distance away. The room was modern decor with no sign of wear or disrepair, elevators were quick and rooms were quiet. The only issue was the main parking lot was full and at 10pm i had to park in a smaller lot that was accessed via connecting alley to the opposite side of the building which luckily had two spots left.

What my wife and I noticed was no-one at the front desk was wearing a mask and we were surprised. We figured that since there was a fake glass in the lobby area, that was the reason, we were not sure and we were surprised. I wrote a email to the General Manager and NEVER got a reply, so be aware if you stay there COVID-19 safe practices are risky at t his Hotel.

We also noticed the room service folks were not wearing masks, gloves, etc. when cleaning rooms. Anyway, overall the hotel stay was okay not great. We did not use any room service at all, and it was very difficult to get supplies to restock our room while we were there....there is no real procedure or process on how a guest gets the room restocked, trash taken out, etc. with out the room service teams...….kind of of a mess to get new supplies...(i.e. soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.) I would recommend you create a new process or procedure on how your guests can restock rooms without the use of room service.

I book countless hotels for clients. This one will not allow prepayment over the phone. Even with a credit card authorization form (which is customary and I would have been happy to do). This reservation was a for a coach of a team in an event for which this hotel is THE HOST HOTEL!
What should have been an easy process: pay for the coaches room a day or two in advance becomes a hassle when the coach has to pay out or pocket and get reimbursed. Not sure why this is the one hotel that won't do it...very disaapointed in the Hilton brand (as an honors member).

Stay Away! very bad hotel management
We wanted to spend our 25th anniversary at Niagara Falls so we booked 3 nights stay at the Hampton Inn 501 Rainbow Blvd from 06/23 through 06/26, unfortunately our flight got cancelled that day around 6 PM, so immediately I called the hotel to let them know and we were able to book a flight the next morning, the hotel staff said will take care of it when you get here and just ask to speak to the manager and we did the following day 06/24 but no help and refused to make any changes or adjustments. The hotel forced us to book an additional night for more than $345 since our stay extended to 06/27, when we complained to the manager, she said call Hilton and we did more than once and every time, the hold time is more than 60 minutes.
Now on to the hotel itself, no room service or housekeeping services for the 3 nights, we had to go down to the front desk and ask for towels and toilet papers every day, and when we complained at the end of the day, the assistant manager said she doesn’t have any housekeeper at this late time around 5 PM, the next day we complained to a different front desk personnel “Jason” who was actually very nice man ( morning shift on 06/26/2021), he spoke with the head of the housekeeper and apologized and said will take care of it, then we came back in the evening, nothing was done except they picked up the trash
The breakfast was a recipe for diabetes, no fresh food or fruits, just coffee and some muffins, toast, Powdered scrambled eggs, oatmeal and jams
Most of the staff are very rude and of no help, they just say we can’t do anything, call Hilton and complain.
Will cancel my Hilton honors account and never stay at Hampton Inn again

My daughter and I stayed lastnight, checked out this morning with no problems. I was returned the $25 deposit on my card. A few hours later I noticed $100 US had been taken out of my account for what the person I spoke to says is "photo evidence of smoking in the room". We did not smoke in the room the "photo evidence" that they have could only be the packaging from a cigar pack that we put in the garbage in the hotel room. I guess we should have thrown the garbage on the ground outside. It would have been alot cheaper. I am beyond furious and will be talking to someone about it tomorrow as the person working today could not help. What is really frustrating is that this was a night away for my daughter and myself for some R&R because her father recently passed away and the last thing I need is this extra expence!!!

We stayed for 5 nights expecting to spend two days in Canada however, although we had vaccine cards and passports were not allowed into Canada without a negative Covid test. We didn’t know about this until it was too late. Two to three days is absolutely all you need to see the American side of the falls. The area is very run down and depressing. Now about the Hampton; it was in a nice area where you didn’t have to worry about walking at night, There was plenty of free parking. The breakfast was pretty good and the bed was very comfortable. Now the bad; the room was not as clean as it should have been. The bathroom was clean though. The thing that upset us very much was we had NO housekeeping at all. We were told that it was because we had a longer stay. I imagine that being short staffed it only allowed their staff to clean the rooms that would be ready for new guests. There was NO apology to be had, if we wanted clean towels, more shampoo or toilet tissue we had to go to the front desk to ask for it. It was very upsetting. I imagine if I had been give an apology and explanation it might have been a bit easier to accept. I saw the same staff members refilling the buffet, vacuuming the carpets and attending to the front desk. Seriously understaffed. I apologize for my long review but I am so unsatisfied that I needed to share. I would seek reservations elsewhere.

This is one of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed at. The staff were very friendly and they have a concierge right off the lobby to help with booking any tours, restaurants or other needs. The hotel was fairly clean and the bedroom was quite spacious.

The hotel is in a great location and you can walk less than a mile to the Niagra falls observation points and the maid of the mist. There are also a number of restaurants within easy walking distance.

The bathroom was a bit small but the tub/shower had a nice high shower head, with decent water pressure. The hotel has not been updated in a while and while many items in the bathroom and bedroom were a bit worn, but did not feel icky like some older hotel rooms do.

The free breakfast was as expected with eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, etc., and was all pretty tasty.

The only negative was the a/c in the room. The thermostat did not seem to be connected to the unit under the window and once we figured out that setting the unit to 66 degrees Fahrenheit kept the room about 70 degrees, we had a much better temperature in the room.

We booked a tour through the hotel and had a great time at the falls. We were exhausted after 4 hours of fun, but we were very glad that the hotel had helped us set this up.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we ever came back to Niagra falls.

The Hampton Inn located about 5 blocks from the Niagara Falls State Park making this hotel good as a base location for your visit.

Checkin was smooth and effortless and the free surface lot parking is a bonus. Also breakfast is complementary with assorted breakfast items and a waffle station.

The guest room was comfortable and clean although housekeeping was not as thorough as expected.

We were happy to be so close to the falls and to stay in a clean, modern room. At night we had to turn the heat off because it is so noisy that it is hard to sleep. We booked the hotel specifically for the kids to use the pool but it is very cold so there was not a lot of swimming so that was disappointing as this was a family weekend. The staff were all very friendly and parking was reasonable compared to others in the area. The beds are a bit older so we would return maybe if a few things were addressed.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was very convenient to walk to Niagara Falls and also to get the free shuttles around the falls and to Lockport. There are not a lot of restaurants around here but there were a few and you have to make sure that you get there before they close like at 8:00 p.m..

We stay at Hampton Inns pretty often and this property was nice. We had a lovely girl check us in who was very welcoming and friendly and energetic at midnight when we arrived. I forgot her name but I think it was maybe Holly. And she was college-aged. We had to get some boxes sent ahead of time to the hotel and they stored them for us and she helped load them on the cart to take up to our room. We had called ahead to the hotel to let them know about the boxes coming and they noted it in our record and the boxes actually came a few days early, but we had no problems with them storing them for us. This was really excellent and well done on the hotel's part. And we are very thankful that they were able to do that for us.

The bed was comfortable and the rooms were fine. I liked having shower gel available. The water pressure was really good in the shower.

The breakfast was not as good as other Hampton Inns. During the weekdays it is a box that is already prepared. Mine had a bagel, a muffin, a cream cheese and a yogurt. I was really expecting a piece of fruit but there was none. On the weekends Friday Saturday and Sunday they have a hot breakfast where you go in and help yourself. Again I was looking for fruit on Friday and I didn't find any. On Saturday they were some oranges. They also did not have a waffle maker which was a little bit disappointing because I really enjoy the waffles at other Hampton Inn locations.

Overall this is a great place to stay. The parking is free. It's very convenient to the falls and walking around the area. Just beware if you try to take an early flight out of Buffalo International airport, there are not very many lyft or Uber drivers in the area of the hotel. We had a hard time getting one at 5:30 this morning. Just beware and have an alternate plan like maybe a real taxi lined up.

Hello! At check-in we hold an additional $25 on your card in the event of incidentals. This can include such things as TREAT shop charges and missing linens from the room. The term "fee" is misleading and should be more described as a "hold," any portion of the fee that has not been used is returned to the card at check-out. This may take your bank 3-5 days to process back to your card, but is released from the hotel immediately! Thanks for your question!

There is a very small indoor pool and a very limited breakfast buffet — we avoided since the hotel was not truly following safe distancing and masks etc etc etc ...instead we went to drive up for breakfast and didn’t swim—.
