Hotel's Favorite
We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the communication between shifts was awesome. I called to let them know we would be late and when we walked in the lady at the desk knew we were coming. It was 230 am and no issues. Breakfast was fine. Close to shopping and we even saw a Christmas tree lighting! We will definitely go there again.

Great place to stay while visiting Lakeland friends and family. It is a perfect location and easy access from the Polk Parkway. We loved having restaurants and bars within walking distance. The location makes for easy access to both the north and south sides of Lakeland.

This is a first rate Hampton inn with all of the favorite amenities that you would expect. Staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. Room was spotless with only a slight problem with noise from the freeway on one side and a busy street on the other. That’s the price you pay for being close to an interstate highway. Let the desk person know if noise is an issue. Very convenient to a Publix market with a nice deli including hot food and a Chic-fil-a if that’s your bag.

Stayed here a single night during a west coast FL road trip on a long holiday weekend.
Overall the hotel is nice. But when look too closely, the place needs some TLC. We had a single king on the 5th floor. The shower is older with 2 sliding glass doors (instead of a curtain). One of the 2 sliders was totally stuck…. Pretty bad. The a/c blows air.. just not cold air. And the small fridge…. Keeps things cool, not cold.
The king bed was great, rest of the stay was fine, too.
But seriously, Hampton Inn folks…. Some TLC in the rooms isn’t much to ask.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Lakeland in March 2024 for one night to hang out with my friends when we attended the Detroit Tigers spring training game. What are my friends lives in Lakeland and the other lives in Orlando and I live in Fort Lauderdale and the hotel room was our base.
The property is nice and well-maintained and the staff is very nice and helpful. The guy at the front desk(whose name I do not remember) was extremely nice and helpful.
The location is also very nice because it is located in the Lakeside area which has plenty of restaurants and bars and shops. so there is some nightlife and things to do and walk around and see within a very short distance of the hotel. So for whatever reason that you came to Lakeland, if you get a little bit bored, you can go out and stretch your legs.
The breakfast was free and very decent. They had bagels and croissants and breads and a premade egg dish. You can also make your own pancakes and they had cereals and a few other things in a very clean breakfast area..
Given the time of the year in Florida the cost of my room was a little bit pricey. I generally don’t feel great about spending $300 (including taxes, and fees) for one night at Hampton Inn. However, that was the market because I did shop around and if I wanted to stay in a good area that was where I needed to be and that’s the cost. I could’ve spent less somewhere else and taking an Uber to the same area where the hotel was, but I made the decision and staying at a place that was pretty good, with a very good staff at a time when the tigers were in town.
On a humid and hot Florida day in August I’m pretty sure that the room is much cheaper because no one is around. But having settled that I have no regrets.
So overall, I recommend the hotel. I’m pretty sure I’ll do this again with my friends in the future and I’ll seek to stay at this hotel the next time that we do this.

I was so glad to get home in my own bed after a less than pleasant stay at your hotel on 9/7. Our king bed was outfitted with sheets that did not fit by any stretch. The sheets kept popping off the corners and I was tangled up in the sheets all night and not in a good way! Not to mention the standard size pillows on a king bed were dreadful. Around midnight, I woke up feeling like I was going to combust and realized the air conditioning in our room was not working properly. I called the front desk and they came up to look and offered to move us to another room after realizing there was indeed a problem with the AC. My husband did not want to move after midnight so we limped along in a humid room that made the too small sheets feel sticky. The only positive thing that I say is the shower water pressure was great. The front desk clerk seemed to give two figs about our room issues at check out the next morning. If we ever find ourselves in town again, I will be choosing a different property.

Heat pump very inaccurate, and what is the wall thermostat for? Rm temp 80 with no control at thermostat. Heat pump set for heat at 60 and still putting out heat, Heat pump filters and grate long overdue for cleaning.
Main door dead bolt doesn’t lock no matter how you try to set the door
There’s enough lint under the bed to start growing something
Bathroom vanity has a major crack across the front, questioning stability and safety
Shower floor grout needs major cleaning

Most Hampton Inn’s are great. This one is no exception. Very friendly staff, everything was clean, no issues with the room. One elevator was a bit slow but was not a problem or crowded. Breakfast was hot and fresh.

Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The young woman when I checked in on 8/23/21 made me feel at home. The same for the woman who was working the complimentary breakfast.
This hotel sits right in the Town Center so you have plenty of options for dinner, a little shopping or just relaxing.

Hello, unfortunately we do not have an outdoor Jacuzzi or hot tub at our location
I'm pretty sure it is. Florida has very strong indoor smoking laws. All restaurants and buildings are smoke free. People go outside to smoke and many businesses have enforced boundaries beyond which smokers have to go so that they don't cluster around an entry.
We have standard rooms and studio suites. Our studio suites are the only room type that come with a wet bar, mini fridge and microwave. The studio suites are available with either one king bed or two queen beds.
I am a Hampton rewards member and you do have that option on that site, but if not, you can just call them
