President Joe Biden‘s son Hunter Biden is speaking out about dating his late brother’s widow, his former sister-in-law Hallie, for several years after Beau‘s tragic death.
The pair began dating in 2017, two years after Beau‘s death, and split in 2019.

Hunter Biden, the son of former VP and current presidential candidate Joe Biden, has split from his girlfriend Hallie.
Hallie is the widow of Hunter‘s late brother Beau Biden and they went public with their relationship back in 2017 with the blessing of their family. At the time, Joe said, “We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
Beau tragically died from brain cancer in 2015 at the age of 46.
While Page Six reports that the breakup was “amicable,” the family has not commented on the split.

Hallie and Hunter connected after Beau sadly passed away from brain cancer in May 2015, according to Page Six.
“Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most,” Hunter told the paper. “We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”
Hunter is still married to his estranged wife Kathleen, but the family is apparently totally okay with the new romance.
“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness,” former VP Biden told the paper. “They have mine and Jill‘s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
