Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress, singer and food writer with an estimated net worth of $60 million. Born in Los Angeles, California, to actress, Blythe Danner and film producer and director, Bruce Paltrow, it was only natural that she took up acting as a career. She made her stage debut in the year 1990 and the very next year starred in her first movie, Shout. Among her popular works are films like Emma(1996), Seven(1995), The Talented Mr.Ripley (1999), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Iron Man (2008) and The Avengers (2012).

In the year 1998, she portrayed the character Viola in the movie Shakespeare In Love. She eventually played the role of Pepper Potts in Marvel's The Avengers.

The role won her the Academy Award for Best Actress, a Golden Globe Award, and two awards for Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Cast at the Screen Actors Guild Award.

She has also won the Emmy Award for her guest performance in the Fox TV series, Glee and was honored with the title, "Most Beautiful Woman" in April 2013 by People Magazine.

Paltrow was married to Chris Martin, the lead singer of the English band Coldplay. They officially announced a split in early 2014 after nearly 11 years of marriage. She eventually got married to American television writer, director, and producer Brad Falchuk.
