I could easily spend a day here - there is food, there is beer, there is shopping. It is really pretty and easily walk-able!

Funky little island with lots of food stalls and a few boutique shops. Has great views of the water and city whilst grabbing a drink or bite to eat.
A nice little neighbourhood. They have a great market going on with some opportunities to grab some tasty food. There is not really much more to Granville Island, but it is still just worth a visit for some food and to soak up a bit of atmosphere
We went to the Granville Island as part of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour. The island is full of craft stores, beer breweries, and pretty settings for strolling and pictures. There are places for kids toys, and a factory is decorated on the outside as an interesting attraction. We had burgers and beer, and later, scones and tea, took pictures, and visited some leather, gems stone and craft stores. A nice couple of hours spent.
A fun spot that every first timer needs to check out when in Vancouver. There are lots of little shops and restaurants to enjoy. Do keep in my mind though, this is an extremely touristy spot, especially on the weekend. The Aquabus will take you right up to the docks out front.
Come early (will make finding a parking spot less of a problem) and take your time wandering throughout the entire island. Remember to walk around the perimeter and take some time relaxing in the park by the Hotel. Farmers Market is amazing. Unique stores everywhere. Something for everyone.
