The Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki earns high marks for its exceptional service, with the staff lauded for their professionalism and the shuttle service receiving special mention. The hotel's cleanliness is consistently praised, contributing to the overall luxurious and relaxing atmosphere that guests enjoy, complemented by live music and comfortable rooms. While the extensive amenities, including a stunning pool and excellent food options, are popular among visitors, opinions on value are divided due to some concerns over high food prices. The location is appreciated for airport proximity, though some wish it were closer to the city center.

This was our first trip abroad since the pandemic started. The hotel is close to the airport which is great after a flight from the UK. The staff were nice, efficient, friendly and helpful. All the staff who worked in the hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were all super attentive. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the swimming pool was a great size and perfect temperature. The room was super comfy and had lots of nice touches such as masks, sanitiser, wipes, disposable cups, bottles of water, as well as the usual slippers, gowns and toiletries. I can’t think of anything negative to say and would definitely return if in the area.

We have just returned from a wonderful family reunion week in Hyatt Thessaloniki.

The hotel is amazing and although the October weather was not as great as it was the 3 other times we visited the resort, the staff did an amazing job to keep us entertained with our kids.

The hotel has a large outdoor pool area, tennis and squash courts, where we spent most of our time.

The rooms are up-to-date and have nice large LG flat screen TV, that support an HDMI connection. During the two rainy days, we spent most of our time at the indoor squash court and watching Netflix via a laptop on the TV.

There are still a few Covid-restrictions, but the hotel did a nice job dealing with that in a flexible way that allowed us to still enjoy every bit of the holiday. E.g. the breakfast buffet was staffed with a person behind each station behind a plexiglass screen so we still had the choice of a full breakfast buffet without any direct contact.

We will be returning again and already look forward to our next stay!

I only stayed one night here but the hotel itself is very nice with amazingly friendly staff and spacious and comfortable rooms. The free airport transfer is a great bonus as well. Dinner in the restaurant was top notch, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the service was fantastic. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that breakfast wasn't included and was €20 on top of my room rate. I thought I would just order some toast or a croissant to my room and the only options on the room service menu were the same €20 continental breakfast or a €24 hot breakfast. I thought this was very disappointing and having stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, I thought this was poor in terms of choice. That said, if you are in town for a night or two this is a lovely place to 'hang your hat' and all of the hotel staff should be commended for their service.

We went to this hotel in order to use the pool land the Oceana pool bar inside the hotel. The entry fee was 55 euro for each couple. It would be ok if the service was good. But instead it took them 10 minutes to find us a place in the loungers. It took them 10 minutes to bring us water (with 35 degrees outside) and it would take Almost 15 minutes for every order we did. Needles to mention the super expensive prices (for the pool bar) if we take into consideration the 55 euros we paid just for three entrance and the towels. On top of that the quality of the Food was less than average. The cocktails were ok but the salads and the pastas and the pizza were totally "indifferent" with no way to justify their 10-15 euros prices and the delay in making. All in all it is just waste of money for a very average service.

P.S. the absence of a visible life guard, along with the totally useless recommendations to our kids not to dive (seriously what else can a kid do in a pool??!) made our time there... not worth it!

Please rest assured that we take our responsibility for health and safety extremely seriously and employ the most stringent measures throughout the hotel. We have a lifeguard on duty during the outdoor pool’s operation hours, and, as per the regulations, diving is not allowed for children or adults. Also, we were very disappointed to learn that you did not receive the care and attention that you deserve as a valued visitor. We will carefully check with the concern staff and follow up. I arrived at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki later in the day after a long drive and with the help of the valet, got my bags to my room. The room was hot, 24 C, and was only set to heat. I told him I needed the room cooler, he told me what I needed to do the ensure the room could be cooler for sleep, and I followed his instructions. I went back to the front desk and requested their assistance with engineering to do whatever they needed to do to switch my room to air conditioning from heat, or whatever. That was not done, and though I had turned the heat off completely, the room remained 23 C my entire stay, way too warm in which to sleep. Upon early checkout the next morning, everyone was apologetic that no one followed through, that I had a horrible night's sleep, but no one did a thing about it. The valet who helped me get my bags said he'd talk with the front desk, but I did that myself when I checked out and I was told someone in management would be in touch with me.

It has been almost one week now and no one from the hotel has been in touch with me and I have not received a survey about my stay. When a property makes an error, they need to make amends and be responsible. A when they say they are going to contact and do not, that makes the situation worse. They know exactly what is going on because I have not received a survey, so, here is my survey to the world.

As a Globalist there was another issue: the Regency Lounge was not open because they used it for some function, so, I was told to go to the bar in lieu of the Regency Lounge. The person who served me acted as though I was lucky to be getting anything that she brought me five small hors' d'oeuvres and a couple of drinks (I had to proactively ask for a drink refill; the only thing offered was water) when I should have had unlimited access to these things at my own pace. Instead when she saw that I was done, she just ignored me.

I would give this aging property a 3 of 10 on overall condition and a 0 of 10 for service and follow-up.

As a loyal Globalist who had 81 nights last year and 61 nights the year prior (I switched to Hyatt and my first night with Hyatt was in October 2021; I did 61 nights in three months in 2021), it is so short-sided of this property to say they are going to do something multiple times (change my heat to AC and call me when they do not, leaving me with a miserable sleep) and not do it.

When I brought this issue up to the front desk at check out, the person's first response was something the effect, "...we'll make it up to you at your next visit...". My immediate response was, "there will most likely never be another visit". And I suggest to everyone that you not stay at this property because if they treat me this way and do not have the capacity to control room temperature of their rooms and will only cater to large groups at an individual's expense, then you too will not be seen at Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki. I very regretfully submit this review, but I hope to save some of you from what happened to me. Please also see my review of their affiliated Casino, the Regency Casino Thessaloniki.

Hyatt lived up to my expectations. It’s like a resort with huge surroundings, beautiful pool and spacious rooms. Best to rent a car and blue car rental has an office about 300 yards from hotel. Due to Covid they don’t have shuttle into town. Thessaloniki city is about 25 minutes drive and traffic is easy to manage if you are driving. There is a decent cooked breakfast available at the hotel. Outside area of the Restaurant faces the pool and it’s lovely to spend time in the area. Staff are all polite and helpful. Overall a great place to relax. Before booking I pondered about booking a hotel in city near to the seafront but decided on Hyatt looking at its pictures and beautiful grounds it was located. I am glad I stayed here. It’s not close to shops or city and be prepared to travel if you need shops or city. It’s 5-8 mins from airport and great to get to the airport.

This was one of the best Hyatt Regency hotels that I have visited, and I was pleasantly surprised, even though I had already certain expectations based on the website descriptions. Great accommodations, well-maintained property and well-trimmed grounds, super friendly, helpful and efficient staff, good breakfast; it really made our visit to Thessaloniki enjoyable.
The property is a resort, with beautiful surroundings, a very large main swimming pool and a separate kiddie pool, tennis courts, gym, spa and several other amenities. It's located a few miles off Thessaloniki, very close to the international airport, so it's very convenient to get to if you fly in to Thessaloniki. The nature of the property places it in a relatively isolated area, so you'll need some mode of transportation if you plan to go to restaurants outside the hotel, or to visit the city. Its location is great for a head start towards some beautiful beaches south of Thessaloniki, towards Chalkidiki.

We are currently visiting Greece and Turkey at Hyatt. Our first week is at The Hyatt Thessaloniki. We have been here almost a week. We reserved a one-bedroom suite upgrade ahead of time. This room is very nice with a separate living room. We are really impressed with this hotel's staff. They are led by the hotel manager, Elena Biniari. Ms Biniari goes above and beyond in making sure her guest are comfortable and have everything they need. This attitude goes from the top to the bottom of the staff. The food has been outstanding for dinner. I totally recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Thessaloniki, Greece.
Next we are on our way to Istanbul, Turkey. I will update after we get into that stay. Then on to Athens. One last note is this hotel did everything in their power to make you feel safe with the Covid travel protocols without being intrusive.

VERY CLOSE to the airport (w/ free shuttle -- you arrange w/ the hotel), and VERY CLOSE to a number of car rental agencies. Hotel is less than 10 min. ride from the airport and the car rental agencies are less than 5 min. from the hotel.

If you visit in summer time there is waterland which is a big park with pools and its near to the hotel. If you stay in winter time there is a mall near that has everything. I don’t know if they have a babysitter service at the hotel. The restaurants and all the shops are near and you can access them by car or by taxi. About five km away!
