Glough Speed-Trialist is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to kill Glough in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Before starting the fight, cast vengeance and spellbook swap to the Arceuus spellbook. When the fight starts, summon a thrall and cast vengeance again. If you are using defence lowering special attack weapons, dump your special attacks at the start of the fight, if not, reserve some special attack energy for the third phase. It is not too difficult to quickly chip through the first two phases with regular attacks, vengeance spells and a thrall. You can disable your prayer after casting vengeance to maximize the recoil damage. Between phases you can heal up as you have to run to the next room. In the last phase, use all your special attack energy and cast vengeance when possible. If you are struggling with melee, consider using a bow of Faerdhinen with crystal armour, or if available, a twisted bow.
Dying in the instance will place the player with all items intact back in Zooknock's house. Special attack energy does not regenerate, so consider bringing a lightbearer ring to recharge special attack energy between attempts more quickly.
