Apple TV+ 'The Shrink Next Door' Trailer Reveals Paul Rudd as a Manipulative Psychiatrist
Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd star alongside one another for an eight-episode series.
Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd starring series, The Shrink Next Door.
The series, which is inspired by true events follows the story of Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf, played by Rudd, who has spent decades manipulating and exploiting his longtime patient Martin Markowitz, played by Will Ferrell. Casey Wilson plays Dr. Ike’s unsuspecting wife while Kathryn Hahn plays Phyllis, Martin’s sister.
According to Variety, Ferrell and Rudd both executive produce the show with Jessica Elbaum and Brittney Segal for Gloria Sanchez Productions. The series is directed by Michael Showalter and Jesse Peretz and is based on a script written by Georgia Pritchett.
The first three episodes debut on Novemebr 12 and each week subsequently after will see a new episode release every Friday through to December 17.
