Woman's Completely Transforms Backyard Fence for Just $10

Just in time for summer.

As we begin spending more and more time outside, it's time to make our home's exterior feel just as personalized and welcoming as its interior. That means adding some fun touches, like the ones this woman added to her fence.

And, because she knows that shopping for stuff for your patios, decks, and yards can be expensive, she was sure to take a budget friendly approach to this idea, and she sourced her materials from everyone's favorite online yard sale, Facebook Marketplace.

Take a look at the cute changes she made and see if you can't get some inspo for tackling this area in your own backyard.

You've gotta love these fun and feisty flowerpots that @oh__carolinaa found on Facebook. Not only are they super cute, but they only set her back $10! Talk about a steal! Of course, it helps that they mount very easily to her fence panels, allowing her to dress up her space without having to do much hard work to make it look nice.

We also love the added touch of putting some flowers into these pots, and think that a variety of different florals could've worked here, depending on how hot the region gets and how much sun it sees.

Pretty much anything vining also would've been a great pick, even some shade loving favorites could do really well when planted where they won't see any direct sunlight.

Your fence can be a fantastic canvas when it comes to sprucing up your yard. See what these folks did to their fences to make them feel like a extension of their interior decor.

Woman Adds Stained Glass to Privacy Fence

When it comes to gorgeous additions, it doesn't get much more stunning than adding a bit of colored glass to your fence. We're absolutely blown away by how pretty this idea is, especially when we start to imagine what it will look like when the sun is shining down through it.

Now, one of the things we have to point out because it was mentioned so many times in the post, is that there may be an additional risk of fire associated with this idea. So please be sure that you're installing your glass in a way where the sun won't reflect down on any natural gas, propane, or other flammable areas.

Add Flowers to Your Fence

Vertical gardening is all the rage in areas with small yards or places with no yards at all, which makes this a natural next step for home gardeners looking for a bit more room to grow.

That, and it looks really cute! Who doesn't want more place to tuck their plants away?!
