Gilgamesh is a recurring character/enemy in the Final Fantasy series. He is sometimes accompanied by Enkidu.

Final Fantasy V[edit]

Gilgamesh is an antagonist working for Exdeath.

In Dissidia: Final Fantasy, the thirteenth cycle, Gilgamesh is a manual summon able to effect a player's bravery.

In Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, Gilgamesh is a secret playable character.

Final Fantasy VIII[edit]

Giglamesh is gained as a GF after Seifer Almasy defeats Odin in battle during Disk 3. Gilgamesh has 3 other swords along with his newly acquired Zantetsuken called Excalipoor, Excalibur, and Masamune. He also appears randomly, but unlike Odin, can appear during boss fights. Gilgamesh cannot be junctioned.

Gilgamesh is an Elite Mark called Ancient Man of Mystery. He is fought in two different encounters, appearing both times with his pal, Enkidu. Gilgamesh uses several different swords each of which is another version of famous Final Fantasy swords.
