Jessica Chastain Is Married—Here's Her Gorgeous Custom Gown

Congratulations are in order for Jessica Chastain: On Saturday, June 10, the actress married her longtime boyfriend, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo. According to Women's Wear Daily, the ceremony took place at the groom’s family-owned 17th-century Villa Tiepolo Passi estate near the Italian city of Treviso. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by family, as well as some pretty famous friends: Anne Hathaway, her husband, Adam Shulman, and Emily Blunt were photographed arriving at the ceremony and at pre-wedding festivities in Venice the day before.

Passi de Preposulo and Chastain have been dating since 2012, but they've kept their relationship private over the years. However, Passi de Preposulo isn't unfamiliar to Hollywood: He's hung with George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Formerly the PR director at Armani, he's now an executive for the Italian fashion company Moncler. The Passi de Preposulos, who produce their own prosecco, have some serious cred too: The prestigious Italian family, which carried a noble title before the Italian government stopped recognizing nobility, dates back to 973 A.D. Their villa is open to the public, by the way—and with its statues, gardens, and foundations, it sounds like an incredibly romantic venue to tie the knot.

Chastain looked gorgeous in an elegant strapless embroidered dress, which looks like it had a corseted bodice with a lace or beaded overlay before extending at the hips into a flared skirt. (Either way: stunning.) According to WWD, it was reportedly custom-made by Riccardo Tisci, who was also in attendance at the wedding. The Miss Sloane actress went with a classic bridal beauty look, wearing a sleek updo paired with a long veil.

We've only gotten a glimpse at the wedding from some distant paparazzi photos taken on the day, but they're enough to make it clear what a beautiful and happy one it was.
