Who Is Candace Owens Married To?

Candace Owens has built a brand for herself as a prominent conservative commentator, with more than 3 million followers on Twitter and a popular show and podcast.

Owens rose to prominence through her vocal support for former President Donald Trump, her criticism of Black Lives Matter, and the launch of her Blexit Foundation, the organization she founded to encourage Black people to leave the Democratic Party.

Owens has also become known for sharing her views on a range of subjects and public figures, including her friendship with rapper and fashion designer Kanye "Ye" West and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Away from the public stage, Owens, 33, has two young children with her husband, British-born businessman George Farmer.

The couple welcomed the birth of their first child, a boy, in January 2021, while their daughter arrived in July 2022.

When Was Candace Owens Married?

Owens, host of The Daily Wire show Candace, met Farmer at a December 2018 soft-launch reception party for Turning Point U.K., which aims to promote conservative ideas.

At the time they met, Farmer was chairman of the U.K. offshoot of the pro-Donald Trump advocacy group Turning Point USA, and Owens was director of communications.

According to a post on Owens' Instagram account, the pair were engaged on Valentine's Day, February 14, in 2019.

Six months later, on August 31, 2019, they exchanged nuptials at the Trump Winery near Charlottesville, Virginia. Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage was reportedly in attendance.

Discussing their whirlwind romance in a June 2019 interview with British society magazine Tatler, Farmer, son of former Conservative Party treasurer Lord Michael Farmer, said he "fell in love so hard" that "nothing else mattered."

"It was like I'd known him my whole life," Owens agreed at the time. "We [share] the same views, we [have] the same sense of humor."

What Does Candace Owens' Husband Look Like?

Just as Owens has an established social-media presence, so Farmer has become an increasingly familiar face online through sharing his own points of view in interviews and public appearances.

Farmer spoke about his wife settling into her role as a mother, a life change that he described as "fascinating to watch," during an appearance on the First Class Fatherhood podcast in June 2022.

"I mean, for those who would argue in society that men and women have no differences or could be the same or whatever, I mean they couldn't be more wrong... Motherhood just brings out the best in women, it just does. It's just a fantastic thing to see," Farmer said.

"They become homemakers, they become people who have so much more tenderness in them. I think it allows them to love more," he added. "That's not to say they didn't love beforehand. There are plenty of women who don't have kids who are incredibly loving and wonderful and incredible women. But it's just that motherhood is so complementary. There's no doubt about it."

Farmer added that parenthood "changed us both in ways that we didn't imagine before we began this journey together," adding that Owens "really blossomed into that role, I think, of being a mother.

"In the same way that being a father for me, I suddenly started thinking about college funds and life insurance and all this kind of stuff. It's just that dads and moms have different things they think about, but we're all planning together now to build this family unit for the rest of our lives. And that's incredibly rewarding for the two of us."

In his business life, Farmer is the CEO of Parlement Technologies, the parent company of Parler, a social media platform favored by those on the far right.

Amid musician West's ongoing antisemitism scandal that has seen him run into problems with Twitter and Instagram, it was announced in October that he would be acquiring Parler, which prides itself on not censoring its users.

"This deal will change the world, and change the way the world thinks about free speech," Farmer said in a statement in October. "Ye is making a groundbreaking move into the free-speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again.

"Once again, Ye proves that he is one step ahead of the legacy media narrative. Parlement will be honored to help him achieve his goals."

However, on December 1, it was announced that West would no longer be purchasing the platform—a decision that had apparently been made around two weeks beforehand.

"In response to numerous media inquiries, Parlement Technologies would like to confirm that the company has mutually agreed with Ye to terminate the intent of sale of Parler," read the statement.

"This decision was made in the interest of both parties in mid-November. Parler will continue to pursue future opportunities for growth and the evolution of the platform for our vibrant community."
