Distributor General Polymers Thermoplastic Materials (Rochester Hills, Mich., U.S.) announces that it has continued to expand its commercial coverage in North America to regions in Tennessee and Minnesota. Further, to support these areas’ needs, the distributor has moved into new office and warehousing space in Rochester Hills, Michigan, which act as General Polymers’ official headquarters.

According to General Polymers, large distribution networks have lost their focus, and knowledge of product lines has become narrow and diluted. With the growth of its distribution range, and the expansion of its headquarters, General Polymers hopes to provide customers with a more focused effort on development activities with fewer suppliers by aligning market strategy to compliment the supplier and support the needs of processors. Further, instead of focusing on volume driven business, the distributor adds, it is focused on being a value-driven solution provider with a focus on compounded and engineering resins.
