An original property, with a veteran marquee idol, in the hands of an accomplished auteur whose name isn’t Nolan, utilizing technological breakthroughs, Gemini Man isn’t just a novelty, it’s a miracle. It’s a Big Bang–a confluence of the right elements and conditions perfectly situated to create something that can flourish, but may never happen again.
Viewers less charmed by spectacle may find the story lacking and as a result, Gemini Man can feel like the best-case scenario of watching someone else play a video game.

Gemini Man is a great movie, providing intense action while still staying fun, emotional, and comedic. Will Smith provided great acting, for both of his characters. I wish the movie was longer, because of how emotional scenes were, it flew me by quickly. I understand why it was the typical movie length though, you can't usually go against standards. However, Ang Lee did something against standards: High refresh rate. I really enjoyed it, my screen watching at home completely benefited from this movie. I enjoyed how the scenes didn't have the typical noise in them, this movie was very clean, high-quality, and enjoyable.

Gemini Man features strong chemistry between its leads and an undercurrent of regret that makes it surprisingly empathetic for an action movie. Do away with the digital de-aging, and this might’ve emerged as one of the more enjoyable action movies of 2019. Then again, for some, it probably already is.
Somehow though, the film registers as a strange, airless whiff — stale, inert, and oddly melancholy. The script rarely rises above the schematics of a thousand thrillers that languish on late-night cable, and the almost willfully cliché dialogue sounds as if it’s been generated by some kind of free-with-purchase screenwriting app.
Whatever new technology facilitated its genesis, the film is just another assembly-line reproduction.
The disappointing end result feels less than the sum of the talents involved, a weak script and thin high-concept plot only just held together by smart visual wizardry.
Gemini Man is a demo reel for some fancy new movie technology, an EPCOT attraction dressed up as an action flick.
Interesante lo de los 120 fps, la trama no tanto, aún así, buen Will Smith.

The de-aging was pretty cool, but a little behind the CGI needed to make it 100% believable. The story is average with a few plot holes, but overall an enjoyable enough movie.

Terrible script, terrible dialogues, mediocre action. The main character, Henry, is the best. The best of the best. Really, he is the top of the crop and the movie will not let you forget that. It's laughable how often someone mentions how Henry is just the best. It is hard to believe that this movie ran in the cinema. It feels like a typical direct to DVD / Netflix production from start to finish. Gemini Man would be Will Smiths worst movie but "After Earth" still exists.
